@Marko19a. You can. Take off the old equipment, inspect / mount the horse, equip new equipment and mount / inspect again.

Can't equip horse equipment if it weighs more than the old one. I had to uninstall the mod then equip then reinstall it. Game version is 1.4.1.

Works fine on old saves. Tested it on a post-game save from 1.0 and it worked fine. Just remember to mount / inspect your horse after taking stuff on or off it in order for everything to be recalculated properly.

Like this change. I wonder if it would mess with old saves where you have like 100 items on your horse.
