У меня, как и у всех, не хватает времени. Даже поиграть некогда, да ещё и комп глючит, надо чинить.
А так-то мне давно хочется переделать каннибалов. Сделать им нормальные некрашенные тела с некоторым звероподобными особенностями типа пятнистой кожи, ритуальных шрамов и дополнительных рудементарных сосков. И рожи сделать новые злобные.
А всё разнообразие боевых раскрасок реализовать: на теле рчерез рубашки, на лице через волосы.
Когда-нибудь это сделаю...

@Macropod, К сожалению, я не в состоянии сказать, почему никто не занимается швами на шее. Если вы хотите прямо сейчас этим заняться, посмотрите на YouTube ролики о рисовать текстуры в Blender или любом другом программном обеспечении для 3D моделирования, Вы можете скрыть шов на шее, используя стандартные инструменты рисования, такие как смазывание или клонирование.

Вопрос в том, откуда эта незначительная разница возникает? Ведь новые текстуры полюбому делаются на основе изначальных, и район стыка на шее нито нарочно не перекрашивает. При изменении форматов текстур в редактор и обратно в dds, что ли?
Соответственно, вопрос: а как их потом подогнать, тело и голову?

@Macropod Голова и тело — это (условно) два отдельных меша (модели), которые используют две отдельные текстуры. Даже малейшие различия в текстурах создают шов. В игре есть несколько текстур голов. Текстура для каждой головы должна соответствовать текстуре тела, а ещё есть моды, которые добавляют десятки новых голов. Если мой мод станет достаточно популярным, я обновлю его, сделав с нуля текстуры всех голов из оригинальной игры, так же как я сделал текстуры для тела.

@Praetor Cr8, sure, I can add more color, but the problem is that the texture color is being multiplied by the skin tone value. This varies a lot between a maximum-bright Greenlander and a maximum-dark Scorchlander, but both races use the same texture. So my texture is designed to be as compatible as possible. Of course, I could just make some variants and let the player choose. Maybe I’ll do that later.

@Cross remove "human_female_body_normal_muscular.dds" and "human_female_body_normal_skinny.dds". Copy and paste twice "human_female_body_normal.dds" and rename copies same as removed files. So you will have 3 the same normal maps of default body but named as intended. Do the same for Sheks and Cannibals.

@Mitsurugi I see. I was just wondering because looking at the mod's files it contains it's own maps for a muscular body. Or do you mean there's a patch specifically for this mod?

@Cross There is already a mod that does just that for females only

Would deleting the muscular body map mean no muscle definition in game? Is it safe to do so mid-playthrough?
