I haven't gone on the editor for a while but AFAIK it's on the Attributes setting when you're opening the scenario via the editor. Though I have the 3den Enhanced since forever so if you don't find it on vanilla it should be there.

@Saeletra I can’t find anything online about this, there are mods out there which merge small groups but there’s nothing implemented in vanilla. How did you turn this on and off?

Alternatively you can put in a system where units spawned as a group don't move (but can look around/reorient) but have 10-25% of every unit spawned as separate from the group as with full movement so they can move around and roam

the Dynamic Groups feature (which puts single units into one group) BI uses saves performance when there's lots of units around, so if a player generates a lot of units in your scenario without Dynamic Groups on, it will definitely tank their performance. When I played another scenario that has Dynamic Groups off (Ground Breach by Skull) it went up to 40 units without noticeable performance loss, so there's that. I think the sweet spot is around 20-40

I suggest putting in a "No Groups" setting for unit spawning if they prefer.

@Saeletra ok thank you, I wasn’t sure if that had much effect, so I left it as a variable the number of groups soldiers are divided into. Do you think the value can’t go high enough?

Hi RPGpenguin, the only way to lessen the AI going through walls/getting stuck is to have them be spawn as separate units instead of one group because of the formation thing

@Fixalated I have read that it is coded into the game that ai will push rough walls if they can't return to formation in case they are stuck, I tried fixes like adding a second outer wall but they are persistent. Having a mod like lambs danger makes it much worse so unload any mods like that, and for a fix either lock them on position (which isn't ideal) or there's a mod called "Anti Wall Glitch Fix by Nerexis" which is supposedly good (I haven't tried it yet)

AI keep going thru walls. ruins the scenario for me, if you can fix that then this generator would be really cool. I wish you the best of luck

@wakelessrex - you can achieve a very similar camera angle by moving the sliders in the Milsim HUD mod settings

@Wakelessrex No, I was just using the camera mode they have in vanilla. It pauses the game so I could get the action shot

Are you using a camera mod for that over the shoulder shot? If so which one?
