@斯基劳大公 I thought about it already, I consider the current location better because it not about Ind only but Khuresh as well. There was a significant arabic trade in Southeast Asia. For north-western part I guess there may could be something that could represent a different tribe of Ind by using an Arabyan faction, but thats more of an idea than anythting.

Still, there is not much of a place where they could be placed besides Haunted Forest, but its already occupied by a Vampire Counts Legendary Lord

rom the perspective of real-world geographical parallels, it would perhaps be more appropriate to move the Golden Magus from southern Ind to the northwestern deserts of Ind.Southern Ind would be more suitable as the birthplace for Indi-style native factions.

Are you sure you want to reinstall the game? Im pretty sure everything should work correctly and its more of a conflict issue.

Maybe try searching for the one that could cause it as well? Like trying to launch it with fewer mods? Would help alot with any future problems related to startpos mods

Hmmm I got the empire guy problem too now. I got that with a ton of mods, something's broken and it's probably not this. Gonna fully reinstall the game.

@Lemonz did this already which is the weird part, this fixed a nameless empire guy spawning in with spearmen from the empire. It didn't change the spawn position change however, weirdly enough.

Hey! I really love the idea of this mod, especially with the new Ind map, but I don't think it is working for me? Every time I've tried to start a new Golden Magus campaign, it still starts me out in the Copper Landing for some reason.

Is this due to the new update?

I can ask, but Im not sure if they would like to move him now as submod is made, perhaps we personally could design some things like win conditions once there will be enough of time and knowledge to do so, especially when Ind faction will be made.

I already plan to ask them about factions as from what I saw they just began thinking about including more minor factions on IEE to spread them more around the map. But maybe its too early to talk about that just yet, we will have to wait and see how it goes ;)

Maybe you should feedback to the author of OVN and suggest they directly move the lord's starting position to Ind and redesign the faction mechanics. From an immersion perspective, this mod is very reasonably designed, but from a gameplay perspective, it renders the faction's original mechanics ineffective.

@emrald10005 He's probably referring to mod teams. Although I haven't heard anything about Ind, I know someone is currently working on a Kuresh faction mod (SCM maybe?). I know CA is also rumored to be adding one more faction to the game, but I don't know how much stock should be put into that.

@Guts The Black Swordsman of course all that is in warhammer is more of an inspiration than anything. For example Norscan Skeggi were made because of Leif's Vinland, but thats a completely different location. As for the Indian faction, its in its very early development ;)

@Rincewind322 Yes, I thought of it a long time before even. I do also believe that such of a well made faction could see a more widespread use on the warhammer map, even if not so loreful. I think that there could be 3 more minor factions of them, one placed somewhere in the middle of Dark Lands (Bukhara/Timurid), second somewhere near Nagashizzhar (Persia) and third in Western Badlands (Ottomans)
If possible, I think some special buildings could be given for them so that they could even recruit some already avaiable monsters of their mythologies, like Persia wannabe faction could get Great Tauruses or Manticores for example.

But yeah dont expect it happening too soon, what you see above was mainly my idea OKH decided to make, and I am now thanking him by creating some Indan prop textures for the campaign map. Maybe if there will be an opportunity to do so, I could ask someone for help or just learn how to mod such things myself as Im nothing more but just a 2D artist :)

Great mod, historically Arabs could not penetrate into heartland of India except raids from Multan and Sindh into western part of today's India. Only if there was a Rajput/indian mythology inspired faction for roleplaying campaign .

Of course, I know about it. Kislev is also a mix of early Kievan Rus with Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth for example and that makes things interesting :D
