@ ChaosLord. You seem to have missed some keys and areas to explore. After analyzing what you are saying, I think I know what happened and it is a game flaw on our part. 1. There is a chest at the bottom of the ramps to the "pool" where there is a round key which you used to open the door to the hallways that led to the sky bridge. 2. The problem is that there is another door that uses the round key which leads to the hallway with the books. It is before the door that you used the round key for. That means you have no way of getting to the second round key. When you open that door you get the books, you have to climb up to the top of the tower turning off the "Seven Deadly Sins" when you do that a door will open and you will "take the plunge" and you will wind up near another chest that contains another round key which was intended for the hallway that leads to the sky bridge.

Hey thanks, already did this, but from there its the same, cant get to the boss. Boss is dead and doors wont open. And i cant get to some books i see across the water where the gargoyl is.
Im already in the cemetry, so its more to collect them and knowing the right way.

Hi ChaosLord You have to find the password to cross the bridge containing the Skeleton Warriors. Here is how As you work your way around the skybridge there are two secret buttons that activate the skybridge you work your way down until you reach the end of the skybridge, but you have to turn around before jumping down and you will see a door that opened behind you. When you enter that door you will find a chest that contains a note with the password. Then go to the plate that activates the password, enter, defeat the skeleton warriors and work your way down into the cellars.

@agamon. Here is the overall trick When you are teleported, usually, and I say usually because there is at least one where this is not true, after you kill whatever attacks you, turn around and go the opposite direction and you will be teleported again. When that happens, kill, turn around and so on. Refer to the map each time you are teleported to get your berings.

@agamon. I know of that of which you speak. But I don't know how you are stuck, so I will give some general advice. If you give me more specifics, I will try to answer those as well. In general, the first task is to make your way through a maze of teleports and monsters, you will need to refer to the map as you will be bounced around. Note specifically the clue that the way
'forward" is not the best. You will have to figure out which space teleports you to the eventual exit.

@Combusto90. It happens. Here is the way out. In the Northwest corner of Ulag's Force Field area there is a ladder in the river next to the lever. You climb to the top of that ladder and strafe left and you will be outside the Force Field area, but you may want to continue exploring the level as there is a meteorite still down there that you will need to finish the game. If you haven't found it already.

I think i locked myself into Ulag's area. I dropped down from the glowing platforms, defeated the boss and got the robe. Now I can't get out of here because all the doors are locked.

Can you be more specific as to your location in the Lesser Mine as that has entrances from several areas. What are you seeing, fighting or anything else you can describe.

Hello,i went to the south from monastery,i found a building.There was a puzzle after solving it i got to the location which called Lesser Mine.I m stuck here.I do not know what to do here.Feedback please.

@agamon. The wooded glen is past the entrance to the catacombs and past the large gate at the southwest corner of the map of Skara Brae.

@agamon. The monastery is the big chapel next to the castle at the entrance to the village where you can get healed by Brother Maynard and get spell and recipe scrolls from Ogma the scribe. The manor building is directly south of the monastery. It is the same building where you retrieved the Hunters Charm and The Weapon Master's Hammer. The wooded glen is in the farthest south corner of Skara Brae at the end of the Blue Highway. (read the road signs) You also have to go there between 11:30 - 12:30 (use the timepiece) If you do you will encounter a wood nymph who will give you the location of one of the pieces of meteorite.

Hello and thank you.I have a quest with Wardoz,yes i have to find out what happened with him.I dont know where is monastery.Second problem i have with Rhiannon misson - walk along a wooden glen at the southwest of Skara Bra ......Can you give me more detailed description of the place meeting please?The mod is fine,i m not playing the latest version.

@agamon144. Good question, everybody is dying to get in there. :steamhappy: Here is how you can do so without succumbing to the netherworld. Actually you have to have an artifact to open the gates. It is the Dread Orb and it is found in the manor next to the monastery. However you it will not be there until you have completed the seven other main quests. It is the last quest when Mentor tells you to find out what happened to Wardoz.

@smccartt, do you know of Alex Diener? If not, he does a lot of LP's on his site of many games and he has done many Legend of Grimrock 1 & 2 mods. He hasn't done one in quite a while and maybe if you ask him to give this mod a try it would be very interesting. He would have to fit it in one of his slots. Just a suggestion. Don't think I'm going to go further in the graveyard as I can't get passed the spiders. Don't know how close I got to completing that task but I'm not that fast.

@smccartt, tks. I had an old save and went thru and did everything as planned. I did have the Armor but didn't see the escape route before. All is well. Moving on.

@Harpo Not sure if you want to go back, but here is the armor's location. After you defeat Grak he drops the Talisman of Lore, his club and a key. At the back of the room where the boss battle occurs there is a door with a lock next to it. When you use the key the door opens to reveal an alcove containing the armor. When you remove the armor it activates a door across the room behind you that opens into the hallway containing the Wine Cellar from earlier in the game. (this is where you have to watch out for the fireball I mentioned earlier) There is also a skull in the cubicle for the Minotaur if you are using that feature to strengthen him. The armor is not necessary for completing the game, but it is stronger than ordinary plate armor. I appreciate you finding this and sorry for the angst it must have created. I have fixed the issue and updated the mod.

@Harpo That is good, but now I know what is wrong. The teleporter from Grak's Inner Lair should have been turned off and was not supposed to take you back to the beginning! I will fix that. I thought you were in the Wine Cellar from the Catacombs Level where you find the myriad of Potions, but face the fireballs early in the game. Did you find Borin's Armor? Sorry for the confusion.

Ok, teleported myself pass the spot where there was suppose to be a pink bridge and got to where the fireball were. No fireballs now. Only can go down from there and at the end is now a teleporter that was turned on before with the button takes me right back to where I started at in the Inner Lair.

Got back up to the spot of the three opens me puzzle but it doesn't not work now so the pink bridge will not work there. Is that where I have to be?

I am in the Inner Lair where I first had to give up the Talisman. From there I can only go to the room with the pink magic bridges going over the toads. Then from there I can only go up two ways to the timed section to press all the buttons. There has to be a secret door somewhere as I can't go anywhere else but back down? Am I missing something?

Hi Harpo. Do not despair. You left Grak's lair and headed up the wrong stairs most likely. You need to go down the stairs pass through the wine cellar again (watch out for the fireballs) and climb the other stairs. You may have to place a torch in the holder again to open the door if it has been removed.

Hi harpo (great moniker by the way) . Here is the answer to your dilemma You don't need to clean up the town after each main quest. Mentor and Lugh the Village Guard will let you know that things have gotten out of hand again. If they aren't appearing and asking for help go on to the next main quest.

Hey, kind of stuck. Been wandering around for quite some time now. I restarted thinking that I missed some stuff by not reading close enough. (to much reading for my taste) Anyway, the first time I finished the first quest after cleaning up the town and after returning the body I remember that the town again had to be cleaned up. This second time I am not seeing that and wondering what I didn't do this time after I did that. Been down in the seller and did all that I could do with only finding 2 tome of wisdom. Any help here?

To answer your question the three artifacts are The Axe of the House Magnus found in the meat locker, Queen Eithnes Pendant found in the abattoir, and The Silver Scepter of Cormac MacArt found in the mine. Great mod! Loving it so far. However, I seem to be stuck in one of the main quests (killing the rat king). I have killed him, and should return with 3 artifacts. But I can only find two of them. . Are they all located in the same place? :-)

@ukdouble1 I misunderstood who you were talking about regarding the Pick Ax. Here is the correct answer.

You have two ways to join Gulthor's gang. One results in you receiving a hand cannon because he respects your answer and he gives you an officer's rank in his troupe. The other answer means he does not respect you and he gives you a pick ax as if to say "you are just one of the regular miners."

Finished the mod.
There are some things I couldn't understand or do.
- I didn't understand what I could do with the pickaxe that the Master of Thieves gives me.
- I couldn't get to the second floor of the Bastion and above (there are stairs on the map).
- I didn't understand what I could do with the obviously quest sword of fortune.
- I couldn't open the doors to the castle rooms.

I noticed a couple of minor flaws:
- The city cell with coordinates 26 31 2 1 is accessible. It offers a garbage view.
- The party can kill the troll that demands the necklace through the prison bars (this can be done with the "poison cloud" spell), the script doesn't react to this, and the demand from the troll's face is repeated.
- In the labyrinth with 16 riddles, it is more profitable to answer incorrectly the first time. This allows you to kill the bulk of the elementals one by one. This doesn't seem entirely logical.

Overall, the mod reminded me of the game "Arcanum": good texts, unusual riddles, but a terribly easy combat part (I completed the mod on hard difficulty, but with a full party).
