im giving it a thumbs up, but only because the older havana was really fun and great looking on potato.tf.
from the pics here, the map looks overbaked, too colorfull and detailed.

WOWIE ZOWIE:steamhappy:
This doesn't even look like a tf2 map :(

Thank you all for the kind words on the map!

We have just released version rc2 which improves performance on the map, adds custom MvM music, and has lots of little tweaks here and there. You can read the full notes in the Change Notes tab. Please enjoy! :happywagon: :switch:

I LOVE THE CREATOR OF THIS MAP

@Fox If you look closer, the carriers that have arrived in Havana are not the original ones but rather a new boat design! The machines are quite crafty and are adapting for the situation.
Fox 29 Aug @ 11:50am
Why haven't you used these hovercraft carriers to replace stock ones.

so after hearing the russian themed bot waves on the mvm map motherland, could you guys do the same for this map aswel? but cuban styled? cuz that ost gos hard and i would love it if more maps did that.

@YUORKI One of the Tropic Crisis maps submission description said that it has destructive energy instead, it wouldn't be of actual use by the Administrator or any other people seeking the life properties of Australium so I guess that only led them to design it around robots for this map
YUORKI 27 Aug @ 8:24pm
If Australium have Health effects on the body, what does Brazilium do?
Kyezoar 27 Aug @ 4:43pm
This map was already extremely pretty before but WOW this is even better
Noticer 27 Aug @ 3:55pm
It's tiresome
Darius Rinzler 27 Aug @ 3:09pm
Man, gotta say the map is great and visually pleasing, you make Cuba look far better than the actual cuban government, hope this gets added.

By the way, I noticed the volcano from Embargo at the distance :auimp:
Darius Rinzler 27 Aug @ 3:06pm
The Tropic Crisis never end
Serge Ivanov 27 Aug @ 1:13pm
Damn, the original was great but what a glowup!
masterchief 27 Aug @ 12:51pm
amazing map, and i personaly dont mind if brazilium becomes an thing.
Hoppkins  [author] 27 Aug @ 11:32am
Brazilium is love brazilium is life. Embrace da brazilium! :idol:
Black Messsssa 27 Aug @ 11:18am
Oh joy...more stuff from Tropic Crisis...you people had Summer 2023 to do that. Stop trying to insert Brazilium into the lore too, it's lacks any creativity and frankly spoils what makes Australium a unique property in-universe to begin with. What next? We gonna try and make "New Zealium" a thing in the few years too?

Gameplay wise it's actually a pretty solid map, it is genuinely fun not a whole lot to say there. But I seriously don't like that you're inserting all this unnecessary shit into the lore. The game itself is bloated enough, we don't it's world and characters to be the same, even if TF2 never took itself that seriously.
M Charlton 27 Aug @ 8:24am
holy guacamole this is elite
Arcanesleet 27 Aug @ 8:23am
Looks awesome as always with all the Tropic Crisis content!
Another_Mexicano 27 Aug @ 8:12am
Looks pretty but the Brazilium addition feels like doubling down on trying to make a fan material canon on the TF2 lore

This map is very pretty, but isn't there supposed to be a download for the mission files?
Package O' Lies 27 Aug @ 7:27am
This map is the perfect representation of the Mann up player's dreams
Muddy  [author] 27 Aug @ 7:15am
I'm always Havana good time on this map.

Havana Smooth - Lee Jackson (from Rise Of The Triad)
Ted Beneke 27 Aug @ 5:33am
you say no AI is used in the creation of this work, yet there's clearly several robots present. Curious.
Ted Beneke 27 Aug @ 5:27am
raw, next question
Fox 27 Aug @ 5:10am
This newer version looks sexier than old one. Good job there.
