Is it just Skavenslaves or is it clanrats as well. I think clanrats would fit because while at a somewhat higher position in the food chain, I think they would still "turn tail" should a sufficient amount of food be offered as compensation.

The mod might not be lore accurate, but I love the idea of skavenslaves abandoning their masters for a chance of a better life. "Look-see, the furless manthings all eat eat food-grain and stay in nice house-warren-things. They don't beat-kill servant-workers all the time either. We could leave-sneak and offer manthings help-work for true skaven loyalty-swear, yes yes?"
