Sorry I only play CE. Won't develop for other combat mods.

Not really. Vanilla doesn't have the concept of armor thickness and bullet sharp penetration.

is it possible to make it work without CE?

It's currently RNG based whether a bullet may penetrate another tree. But it will always honor the tree's armor value and the bullet's sharp penetration. You can configure both likelihoods in the config UI in game (likelihood to penetrate tree at certain penetration to armor ratio, and then the likelihood to be allowed to penetrate another tree).

Was thinking about an approach where we take energy away from the bullet but found one more fun. A little randomness and chaos. If there is interest in a version that takes energy away, it shouldn't be too hard to build.

Let me know

Not really, no. Depends heavily on the thickness of the tree and the caliber. But on average trees are not bad cover. I guess if the bullet were to graze the tree from the side, yes. But on the thickest part of an average oak tree, most bullets would be stopped

Do bullets get penetration power reduced after penetrating trees?

Thanks, also shows on the mods. And there indeed is multiple I did never catch! :D

@Dennis please find the collection of all my mods here:

Yes, for public profiles you can check all the workshop submissions an account has made. If the profile is private, that is not possible and the mods can only be found regularly via search or (like me) by "Newest". Given I subscribed to multiple, I believe there might be more that I just didn't see - a mod playlist with all your mods attached to each mod would help to check for other mods you made :)

Didn't know that. Thought you could see all of them on my profile. Good idea!

Could you consider to add a playlist for your mods and add it to your mods? I see you seem to make a lot of useful CE mods, but given your profile is private it's not possible to look for all of them.
