That would be another request for étouf fement, as my work just pertains to gameplay mechanic tweaks. I do occasionally fix problems with the decks/divisions, but aside from that I unfortunately don't have the willpower to create and maintain national decks.

On top of the maintenance for these mods, I'm currently working on a WinForms GUI that would allow WARNO players less-versed in modding the game or coding in general to create their own mods (making it easy to apply a range increase to only one particular weapon system for instance).

I don't have a schedule for the release of this WinForms GUI as it's just a hobby project of course, but I'm sure it'll be out before the heat death of the universe :winter2019happyyul:

also what would be good for your mod would be to add national decks which behaves like normal division but gives you all the modern units of one of the nations, for example a deck fusing the french armored diffision and the french legionnaire division, kind of like wgrd

I have actually tried that, but unfortunately when doing so, it changes everything else that has to do with distance in meters as well. I would have to rewrite the mod from scratch so I've decided that I'll leave it as is.

As for the Eryx, this is technically true that it wouldn't have a range of 2100m IRL (in real-life). However, because the game is scaled in such a way that 1m IRL equals 2m in-game, the Eryx only gets 1050m of real-life range. This is still high, but it's not absurd. It would be too much work for me to manually change/balance the ranges of individual weapon systems. So I've decided that the 2x engagement range increase is the best balance between fun/realism while also being easy for me to maintain.

also a raw multiplication of ranges doesn't necessarily makes sense realistically wise, for example the eryx atgm wouldn't get 2100m range
idk if its a feature in the mod but having the scale being 1:1 with visual meters would be good

UI Changes
• Increased LOS Tool render distance (8km)
• Unit labels no longer fade away when zoomed in. Makes managing units and targeting enemies easier on maps with realistic terrain/heightmaps

This actually checks out completely with a change I've made to their auto-cannons. This was done to balance out the higher rate-of-fire but I'll revisit it and tweak it to a better and more appropriate value
I'm unsure if you're aware but as far as I can tell, all BMP-2 variants 30mm autocannons are shooting to the left of any vehicle target, as well as not depleting ammo. I've never paid super duper close attention to how they shoot at infantry but when i was looking after noticing this they've only done sweeping bursts instead of anything resembling an accurate shot lol. I don't have any other mods enabled but it could just be me? Not really a mood killer for me, I'll just play some nato, but I hadn't seen anything mentioning this so I thought I would.

Okay, perfect, thank you very much for the reply. It's always more reassuring to walk the battlefield without fear of crashing because of the ERYX missile launcher. As a Frenchman, it's a real pleasure to see my country's units (usually only visible in the military parades on July 14th).

That bug has been fixed, but by the creator of the World in Flames mod. The bug happened because the Eryx launcher wasn't finished and hadn't yet been officially released. Yokaiste's script accidentally picked up all the Modern French units out of the mod's code and included them into the Freedom Decks.

Now that the Modern French units have been released officially, you should have no more problems with units crashing the game :)

Additionally, the number of units per card in Limited decks should varies by tier (5-3-2-1 or 4-3-2-1) rather than being capped at 10. This enables a more realistic and tactical force composition when constructing decks.

I hope you will lift the restrictions on Free Deck in the next update, allowing each battle group to have 6-8 companies or even more, and permitting each company to have 6-8 platoons or even more, so that the deck can be utilised to its full potential.
