Good evening @444monty. Sorry for the delay in responding. Is there any way you could send me the log? So I can try to find out what happened to you?
444monty 25 Sep @ 5:16pm
Was very excited to play this mod again, but seems to crash on boot. Can't seem to fix it ;/

Good evening @tigerfestival1988. Sorry, but I can't. Actually, I can, but... that goes against DRM. But don't worry, Kabyo already has a copy, and from what I've seen, there will be very few changes if he makes them. I think, as I told him, I don't remember exactly what I changed. x\

Good evening @Crepe. Thank you. If you find any errors, please let me know! ok
tigerfestival1988 20 Sep @ 9:16pm
@1100Ross if you still have your custom version of Aetherium Engine, mind sending it my way? I'd like to try it out.
Crepe 20 Sep @ 7:31am
Well isn't this a blast from the past! Thanks for updating this old mod.
AgentKirin 14 Sep @ 2:22pm
Cool. Yeah, I have a lot of mods that add planets, like M32, Cosetropolis, Overgrown, Grassland, Box's pack, K'rakoths, Arcana, Ancient Cosmos (although those last two have their own stars)... ig it makes sense that with a more normal spawn rate, VITSOU planets get a bit crowded out if you have enough planet mods.
1100Ross  [author] 14 Sep @ 5:37am
Good morning @Agentkirin. I can't believe they're rare now lol. I tested only with VITSOU without adding another mod that adds planets. And the spawn was good, there were plenty of vanilla and VITSOU planets. When I come back, I'll test with more planet mods, okay?

Good morning @kaibyo. Sorry for the delay in responding. I always travel for work on weekends and don't get back until Monday or Tuesday. Regarding your curiosity, I believe it's about the Aetherium Engine, which I use. I've loved your mod since it was released, but it has some incompatibilities with other mods. What I did was fix or remove some bugs, including the one with the materials. That's why I didn't have this ID error. Since my modpack contains over 900 mods, there's no other way to play without errors other than customizing. If you want this version, I can make it available to you. I just don't remember exactly what I modified, kkk. I don't know if my version is compatible with FU, but I believe it is.
Kaibyo 13 Sep @ 10:42pm
@1100Ross I've sent you a friend request so we can talk more privately without bogging down your mod's comment section. I wish to discuss something that sparked my curiosity.
AgentKirin 12 Sep @ 8:13pm
Scratch that, I found a system that had a few... but it took awhile. They're much rarer than I expected.
AgentKirin 12 Sep @ 8:11pm
So, um... Now I'm having the opposite problem of what people have been reporting: I haven't run into a single VITSOU planet.
AgentKirin 11 Sep @ 7:06pm
Thanks for the heads-up! I'll give it a try :3
1100Ross  [author] 11 Sep @ 5:18pm
Good evening @AgentKirin. I believe the latest update has significantly reduced planet generation issues. Parallax issues have been addressed, terrain has been rewritten, and non-existent monster spawns have been added. I also added biome status effects. I removed the dungeons until I created a new one to spawn the mod's hugedbiped monsters. I also removed the item and object recipes because I didn't feel they were necessary or useful within the mod. They still exist within the mod, but there are no recipes to acquire them. But you can test it out; just create a new save. xD
1100Ross  [author] 11 Sep @ 5:17pm
Good evening @Kaibyo. Thank you for your understanding and effort. I didn't change these materials, as the only one that uses them is Frackin Universe, and since VITSOU wouldn't be compatible with FU, there was no need to modify it. I also use a customized version of the Aetherium Engine, so I didn't feel like this would interfere with your mod. Sorry.
1100Ross  [author] 11 Sep @ 5:16pm
Good evening, @Princessghost. Thank you for your support and understanding. I believe that with the latest update, VITSOU's planet generation has decreased significantly and hasn't overloaded the vanilla generation. Since I use the Planet Search mod, I fortunately haven't noticed this overloaded generation. Anyway, sorry...
AgentKirin 9 Sep @ 8:49pm
Waiting for a bit more of the jank to be addressed, especially planet generation, before I sub. Looks promising, though, and any mod reclaimed from the FU pile is awesome to have.
Kaibyo 8 Sep @ 8:34pm
Aetherium Engine lead dev here again. I meant to post this sooner, but I've fixed the issue with VITSOU and my mod. There shouldn't be any more issues between the two mods—if there is, please let me know.
Princessghost 5 Sep @ 9:05pm
Hello! Thank you very much for your hard work, I just wanted to report that I am having the same issue that a few others are having with VITSOU planets seemingly overriding vanilla planet generation. I hope you have a good weekend ^_^
1100Ross  [author] 5 Sep @ 9:02pm
Good evening @voido. I don't know if it's compatible with TrueSpace/RealSpace. I don't use those mods. I just updated the code to version 1.4.4.
1100Ross  [author] 5 Sep @ 9:02pm
Good evening @Silver Sokolova. Thank you very much for pointing out this error. I will correct it as soon as possible.
voido 4 Sep @ 8:34pm
Is this compatible with TrueSpace / RealSpace?
Silver Sokolova 30 Aug @ 9:45pm
Welcome back! Not entirely sure what stuff from Betabound it requires (I haven't checked in-depth) but I noticed that the mod replaces the cooked tentacle item instead of patching it. You can use this https://chbrown.github.io/rfc6902/ and ask for help in the mod dev channel of the SB Discord server regarding test ops

Replacing the item instead of patching it means that any changes to the item, patches or otherwise, made by mods which load before this mod will be undone
1100Ross  [author] 29 Aug @ 4:59pm
Good evening everyone. Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm still at work and should be back on Sunday. This way, you can make the corrections I mentioned. Thank you very much, and I apologize for the delay in responding to each of you!
ShadowManRay 24 Aug @ 9:35pm
Good looking mod, but there's a couple of problems here.

The planet icons on the Navigation Console for these planets are all the same. And not in the good way same, its all slime green, even the text is in a strange color. Might need a look at that.

The Bigger Issue (pun intended), is the planet icons. When approaching them, they swell up and take over the size of the screen. Not sure if it was an off chance, since some were normal, so its a bit weird.
The mod may be slightly incompatible with the More Planet Info mod, but defiantly take a another look at navigation stuff.

Another issue to note is the plants itself. Its just a touch empty. Where are all the creatures? The mega-fauna? The weirdos trying to shell out in the middle of the woods? Not alot of life on these worlds...
Jean1337_ 24 Aug @ 10:08am
oooohh, good!
LTWafflez 24 Aug @ 3:17am
Planets generated by this mod seem to basically replace any vanilla planets, and ignore the threat level of stars, so getting a t6 world on an temperate star is possible.
Kaibyo 23 Aug @ 11:04pm
Aetherium Engine lead dev here. I've been made aware of the error with chert material, and I'm working on a fix for AE. Apologies in advance for the potential errors and PGIs when that fix comes out.
tigerfestival1988 22 Aug @ 1:42pm
After testing this mod a bit, the planets seems to replace MANY vanilla and modded planets, some of which are required for progression, not only that the tiers vary greatly, some tier 7 planets spawned in a gentle star. I hope you can rectify this.
AgentKirin 22 Aug @ 1:37pm
Fatal Exception: (ItemException) Duplicate item name 'chertmaterial' found

Seems to be a conflict with Aetherium Engine. One or the other needs to prefix its chertmaterial's itemName.
LilacDragon 22 Aug @ 9:14am
seems like its having a problem with whatever other mod also uses the name largeCaves for one of its cave types
[Error] Fatal Exception caught: (TerrainException) Duplicate composed terrain generator name 'largeCaves'
LTWafflez 22 Aug @ 8:31am
Reinstalling the mod seemingly fixes this, not sure for how long though.
LTWafflez 22 Aug @ 8:22am
Crashes the game to desktop with this error sometimes:
[Error] Exception caught loading asset: /items/generic/crafting/steelbar.item, (AssetException) Could not read JSON asset /items/generic/crafting/steelbar.item
It worked fine for a couple of hours after I added the mod mid-playthrough, then decided to crash to desktop on startup.

I have a feeling it isn't meant to make every planet that it generates into various types of Vitsous, excluding modded planets and stars. As in, I've seen almost exclusively Vitsou, Lunar and the occasional Gas Giant from vanilla stars (gentle, temperate, frozen, radioactive, fiery).
I haven't visited the planets yet, but I have a feeling the weight of spawns are a bit extreme.
LTWafflez 22 Aug @ 2:30am
Seems to break the generation of the starter lush planet for me.

By any chance, does this mod affect planet size generation? I tested it with mods like [Biome Uniformity] (by: Omeruin) and [Planets generation Overhaul - Bigger Planets, more satellites around gas giants, more dungeons and microdungeons spawn] (by :Meteora). No error msg, it booted me out of the game. Any feedback would be appreciated ^^
1100Ross  [author] 21 Aug @ 12:22pm
Good afternoon @Circe. Thank you, I made the changes you requested. xD
Circe 21 Aug @ 10:38am
So, the description still mentions sectors. I understand wanting to keep the original description intact, but a parenthetical note or a note at the end translating to what it means in this version (since Starbound doesn't have sectors anymore) could be helpful
AgentKirin 21 Aug @ 10:08am
Cool beans :3
1100Ross  [author] 21 Aug @ 10:07am
Good afternoon @AgentKirin. I believe so. It just adds new planets with the aforementioned biomes. It doesn't change anything in the vanilla game's generation. But first, make a new save. I just released it because I don't have time to test all 106 biomes. This can cause errors that could lead to your save being lost. So, use it in a new save, okay?
AgentKirin 21 Aug @ 9:28am
Does it play nice with mods that also alter vanilla star system generation, like Starburst Rework?
1100Ross  [author] 21 Aug @ 6:33am
I hope you enjoy each planet. It's an amazing mod!
tigerfestival1988 21 Aug @ 2:16am
WOW! SOMEONE ACTUALLY DID IT AND BROUGHT THIS AMAZING MOD TO STARBOUND 1.4! FUCK YEAH!!!! :gonjoy::SVSRam::sadcattiva:
