Found reports that Masika is sometimes not spawning for people who don't use mods as well. It appears she's in the same boat as Shadowmaw, it is normal.

By the way, since it appears to be a sort of engine bug specific to mods, it might not happen if you use the Hardmod version from Nexus Mods (link in description)

Sometimes certain bosses will not spawn the first time they're loaded on a difficulty, but then they will spawn every time afterwards. It has mostly been reported for Masika and Arachne, and rarely Talos as well. It is a known issue which none of the active mod authors can explain. The associated mod files do not have any errors in them, so it should be an issue that happens without mods as well, but we only hear reports of it happening with mods and we can't explain it. It doesn't always happen either which makes it even stranger.

It is normal for Shadowmaw to not spawn every time, though.

Sandqueen Masika sometimes doesn't spawn, but her chest loot is still openable (free loot). This happened to me on normal and epic difficulty, not sure if it also happens on legendary.

Had a bug with the 4 statues in the sphinx. Only two were there when I entered the room. Destroyed the 4 summoner pillars, killed the two statues and nothing happened. 3 disembodied spirits that can't be interacted with are standing where the pillars were, doing nothing.

after getting the mod to load it seems highly unstable in multiplayer, all my friends crash every 5 to 10 minutes of play except me(the host).

Calla, I don't know if you're still checking in but we'll be looking at different potential solutions for Linux over the next few days on the TQ discord. Hopefully it's something we mod authors have the power to resolve. It seems some Linux users don't experience issues, we'd love to have you test things for us since we don't have anyone right now who gets the crash.

It's your operating system. It probably fails to fully mimic Windows in how it resolves file paths.

no im on linux using proton. i choose custom game, create new character and click play and it immediately crashes. do i need all the dlc? cuz that would be a good thing to know as i only have the norse expansion.

I assume you're playing on a Windows PC. What steps are you taking for it to happen? You're supposed to launch the mod using a blank level 1 character in Play Custom Quest, then you ignore the message as you get redirected to the Play Titan Quest menu where you can select any old character or create a new one and start the game.

If, for some reason, creating a new character following these steps does not work for you, then you can create a Play Titan Quest character without the mod, then go back and launch the mod, and then select the character you made and start the game.

Some abilities have "dormant" attributes like those which may have intentionally been disabled at some point during development. They are not necessarily proof that the skill was supposed to have those effects in its final version.

I will look into it further when I have time.

what sort of error? If it mentions an invalid map file or that it's a "bounce mod" then you just need to continue, select your character and play.

Unfortunately the sound bug cannot be fixed. It's an engine-level bug that mods are not able to touch on.

Great work, love the changes and the possibility to drop the previously bugged items. Would it be also possible to fix the sound breaking bug, where after you load up the game multiple times on a single seed, some of the game sounds cease to work until you restart the game?

No, I don't think I can. It's because shield attacks also attack with your main hand weapon at the same time, and throwing weapons do not have a melee attack. If you don't have a weapon equipped then you can still use your fists which are a melee weapon, that's why it still works.

Hello, thank you for the mod. I noticed that you can't use shield based skills like batter when wearing a throwable weapon. I'm not sure if it's a bug but I can't find any particular reason why it's like that since you can even use it when only carrying a shield and no weapon at all. Could you change that?

Displaying affixes has been a highly requested feature. I do not currently have plans to offer alternate versions, what you are asking would require me to surgically remove 3000 files and maintain two different versions, something that I'm not interested in doing merely for cosmetic reasons regarding what the affix text looks like.

An update of what i wrote before: only certain MI or certain affixes have this problem. Some concrete examples from my game: Trapper's Spear of Ability and Outrider's Skullcap of Energy are ok but Draining Brigand Bow and Heavy Deathweaver's Legtip of Destruction have the dark green affixes (the Deathweaver has only the affix in dark green, the suffix is ok colorwise)

Hello and thank you for a very nice mod. I've been using it in my current play-through and would like to report one thing that i noticed: the color of affix for a Monster Infrequent (Outrider Bow) is dark green (same color as the green items) and the rest of the name is olive green (the color of the MI).

On a side note: would it be too difficult to have a version where the affixes and suffixes of the MIs is not displayed (same behavior as the vanilla game) or if you could point what file(s) needs to be modified and i would try and do it myself for personal use.

I'm using the mod but have some questions:
1. Is it normal that some boss as Talos and Sandqueen Masika don't spawn sometimes?
2. Some of my armors MI like Outrider's Tunic, Sentinel's Cuirass and Stonebinder's Sash appear with purple background color like legendary items, is this also normal with the mod?

The mod now displays affixes for MIs and uniques, and MIs now have their own drop sound just like epic and legendaries. (Courtesy of Psixi)

A few of Psixi's quest fixes have been removed because they could reset quests and cause more trouble than they were worth. The fixes weren't really needed anyway, just remember to turn in the Nessus quest for the skill point instead of sequence breaking.
