I'll keep my fingers crossed that the beggar in question will calm down. Try to devote yourself to other activities outside the city for a while, if possible.
I’m still a bit stuck, since uninstalling the mod in a panic and then reinstalling it seems to have broken the cooldown timer. Waiting four days hasn’t fixed it so far. That’s probably my fault for uninstalling while the aggro cooldown was active, not yours.
Still, I’m optimistic that I won’t need to load a save from when I first aggroed him, just from when I uninstalled the mod. (There were a few hours of playtime in between.)
I’ll try again tomorrow.
Thanks again, and maybe consider excluding that one beggar from the “target list” for future players if possible.
A long time ago, I saw a stinking beggar and naturally told him to bugger off.
Turns out that bum was Volf, the very beggar you need to talk to in order to finish the DLC. Now he runs away whenever he sees me, even after uninstalling the addon. I tried waiting, knocking him out, and even killing him. Killing him obviously fails the quest, and the other options do nothing.
Any idea how to fix this?
Or could @honza patch it for future players?
Really appreciate the work dude.
