Talk to the beggars

Description
Let your Henry's character show on the street! Is he compassionate or does he just not like dirt?

Stop by the beggars on the street and talk to them. Give them a few groschen or something to eat. They will thank you! Do you have anything to give them? Or do something else! Your reputation will change...

Notes 📝
- All audio are available in the game language: English, Czech, German, French or Spanish. Other languages of the game in subtitles are supported.
- Talking to beggars in quests should not change. If so, please report it as a bug.🙏
- This mod changes the settings of the voices. If you encounter strange behavior in the game, characters not having audio or lip animation, please report it as a bug.🙏
- There are no beggars on the Trosky region, as far as I know, except for Bara, who you can now also gift. Most beggars are in Kuttenberg, others can be found in the village of Bylany. Have you met others you could talk to anywhere else? Let us know to posts 🤗

Known bugs 🐞
- At the beginning of the conversation, the camera sometimes looks at the kneeling beggar, but he is already standing, so only his legs are visible 🙄

I considered excluding quest beggars. But in the end, I decided to include them in this mod because it fits with the spirit of the game, which is that Henry should feel the consequences of his decisions.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the beggar in question will calm down. Try to devote yourself to other activities outside the city for a while, if possible.

First of all, thank you very much for responding so quickly.

I’m still a bit stuck, since uninstalling the mod in a panic and then reinstalling it seems to have broken the cooldown timer. Waiting four days hasn’t fixed it so far. That’s probably my fault for uninstalling while the aggro cooldown was active, not yours.

Still, I’m optimistic that I won’t need to load a save from when I first aggroed him, just from when I uninstalled the mod. (There were a few hours of playtime in between.)

I’ll try again tomorrow.

Thanks again, and maybe consider excluding that one beggar from the “target list” for future players if possible.

Hi, wait a while, maybe until the next day. They'll get over it. They'll still scold you, but they won't run away from you anymore.

Help! I softlocked my LOTF DLC with this addon.

A long time ago, I saw a stinking beggar and naturally told him to bugger off.
Turns out that bum was Volf, the very beggar you need to talk to in order to finish the DLC. Now he runs away whenever he sees me, even after uninstalling the addon. I tried waiting, knocking him out, and even killing him. Killing him obviously fails the quest, and the other options do nothing.

Any idea how to fix this?
Or could @honza patch it for future players?:steamsad:

I always wished I could do more than just walk by the beggars.

Hi AK_Snowbat, please write to me where it was and what the situation was, for example how you completed the main quest etc.
