To the respected developer, we respectfully request the addition of Chinese language support to the mod. This feature is greatly needed by the Chinese player community. We would be immensely grateful if this could be implemented.:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:

Oh, I see, thanks for clearing that up.
Yeah, that thing is super annoying.
I keep it disabled, otherwise it blocks literally everything.

https://www.reddit.com/r/qBittorrent/comments/1kjb8n1/windows_11_smart_app_control_is_blocking/

its neither the anti virus/ windows defender, its a feature only on windows 11 called smart app control, since i had a fresh install of windows 11, there is no way to whitelist a program, came up to this fix, which is to disable smart app completely (cannot be reactivated)

windows auto blocks anything resembling sus activities running in the backgrounds
chunchunmaru  [author] 2 Oct @ 9:48pm
@Lufian
Good idea, will do.

@Maddii
The antivirus flagged it. Please add an exception for the program folder.
Maddii 2 Oct @ 2:35pm
after the update, i get warnings from Smart app control on windows 11, and it auto deletes the exe
Lufian 2 Oct @ 4:10am
You should probably change the 'Settings file' to 'Options file' as to not confuse people using the settings.set
chunchunmaru  [author] 22 Sep @ 11:55pm
@N7CommanderTR
Yes, this is expected. The option appeared by mistake in a test build. It currently has no effect, which is why it doesn’t save. The next update will be more significant and bring several improvements.
N7CommanderTR 22 Sep @ 12:43am
Hey, don't know if its a bug or something on my end but i cant seem to save the games directory in preferences. Just remains blank every time i click ok.
gtofankyMAN96 15 Sep @ 11:14am
awesome!
HappyToshka 12 Sep @ 9:57am
Программа перестала работать, она просто не добавляет выбранные в ней моды в порядок игры. В настройках я не могу указать путь к установленной игре - просто кнопка не работает. Также не работает кнопка Add и нет тёмной темы.
chunchunmaru  [author] 3 Sep @ 10:08am
@gtofankyMAN96
Got it, that’s just an alternative to the “Add” button. It should be included in the next update.

When selecting a mod I can click on it, and it shows in the active mods list. But I can not click + drag a mod into the active mods list. I can in a sense highlight multiple mods and click add but I can not drag it to the active mods list. Yes you can do it within the active mods list but i was speaking on inactive.
chunchunmaru  [author] 2 Sep @ 6:43am
@gtofankyMAN96
Hi mate, I really appreciate it.
I'm open to suggestions, but I'd just ask you to be a bit more specific.
Drag and drop what exactly ?
We can already do that with the order of active mods, so I imagine you're referring to something else ?
gtofankyMAN96 2 Sep @ 6:11am
after a month of user I do enjoy this mod manager. My only thought would be to add a drag select /drop ability. Outside that good work! Easy to use!
StonedRoses 2 Sep @ 1:49am
alr, i already did and it works again
chunchunmaru  [author] 2 Sep @ 1:28am
@StonedRoses
Unfortunately, there is not much else I can do atm.
Add an exclusion to your antivirus software.
StonedRoses 2 Sep @ 12:31am
whenever i try to open the mod manager app mcaffee tells me theres a virus. can you fix this?
roflcake$ 1 Sep @ 11:25pm
this map is a godsend. thank you so much for your hard work.
dgn 1 Sep @ 2:44pm
Thanks for this nice & useful tool !
Such software for MOWAS2 would be a real blessing ...
Cheers.

Since not everyone reads changelogs, here is a brief summary relevant to feedback:

- Fixed Linux issues
- Added right-click (context menu) option to open mod location and Workshop page
chunchunmaru  [author] 31 Aug @ 11:40pm
@Toby S.

Quick clarification:

- Only one of the two paths for options.set should exist.
- Mods are not loaded on the fly — you must restart the game to activate new ones.
- Gates of Hell does not need a mod loader (there are none anyway). A mod manager only makes things easier, but everything it does can also be done manually.
- Currently, the mod manager does not handle required mods automatically. If a required mod is missing, the game will simply clear the active mod list.

Had no luck getting mods to load with it, followed vlads video and got the two route files set, and tried loading mods with and without CTA running and it never enabled any. Haven't played in a while, are mod loaders really required to run mods now in this game?
chunchunmaru  [author] 30 Aug @ 5:58am
@Banzai_Samurai
Indeed, thank you for letting me know, an update should be coming soon!
Banzai_Samurai 30 Aug @ 2:23am
Linux version refuses to select options.set despite locating the right file. Any fix to this? Maybe just bruteforce with an any file option?
vlad_8011 17 Aug @ 9:21am
No problemo :)
chunchunmaru  [author] 17 Aug @ 9:17am
Incredible @vlad_8011, thank you so much! :balloon:

@TWITCH
I understand, but that's not planned for the immediate future. I'm already short on time just to make progress on the project, let alone for a video guide.
TWITCH 16 Aug @ 10:19am
i i was hoping that you would one day make a video for a tutorial... im new... i need to learn yet.... thank you
vlad_8011 15 Aug @ 3:13pm
Thank you for answer. If I manage to handle this, I will make video tutorial.

@vlad_8011
Hi, good to see you here.

The current functionality allows tracking the main mod folder (e.g. workshop ) and importing mods through the mod manager.

The import logic works as follows:
→ When you import a mod, it is placed into the local mods folder (inside the game directory).

This allows:
• Modders to test their creations
• Players to manually install a mod that might otherwise cause issues

Manually imported mods also have a right-click context menu that makes them easy to remove.

The current user guide is still very basic, so many of the features are probably unknown to most of you. One day, I’ll write a proper guide.
vlad_8011 15 Aug @ 2:15pm
Wait, does it actually support more than one mod folder? That could be helpful for mod creators.
vlad_8011 15 Aug @ 2:12pm
Looking forward to find time for testing it. Glad someone actually made second mod manager with ability to track more than one mod folders.
Corpse 14 Aug @ 8:10am
Great, looking forward to it!:steamthumbsup:
chunchunmaru  [author] 14 Aug @ 7:27am
@Corpse
I'm glad to hear that!
And yes, that's a feature that should be coming soon.
Corpse 14 Aug @ 5:57am
Maybe we can create a right-click context menu feature to quickly access the corresponding mod folder?
Corpse 14 Aug @ 5:38am
It's awesome! Really saved me!:steamhappy:
DeusVult 10 Aug @ 1:28pm
i cried because i was so happy. oh my god, thats exactly what i wanted, done the best way i could think of. Awards for you, good sir!
chunchunmaru  [author] 9 Aug @ 1:31am
@Kieran514
As stated in previous comments and changelogs, Windows Defender may still detect the program as a virus due to the compilation process. If you want to help, just confirm whether the latest update is still flagged.
Kieran514 8 Aug @ 7:46pm
@chunchunmaru are you not gonna say anything about this being flagged as Wacatac?
RyZ 8 Aug @ 8:57am
норм тема?
chunchunmaru  [author] 8 Aug @ 2:27am
@BLAZEPK
If the latest fix truly resolves the antivirus false positive, the location should now be permanent.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while I work to sort out the issues affecting everyone.
chunchunmaru  [author] 8 Aug @ 1:37am
@Kieran514
You seem to be using an old version. Try “unsubscribing” and then “subscribing” again.
If the problem persists, let me know.

The new path should be: ...\goh_mod_manager-windows-x64\goh_mod_manager.exe
Kieran514 7 Aug @ 10:43pm
Windows defender picked this up as:
"Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.H!ml"

With the affected items being:
"file: D:\SteamLibrary2\steamapps\workshop\downloads\400750\3539729649\goh_mod_manager-windows-64bits.exe"

No clue why this happened.
BLAZEPK 7 Aug @ 9:50pm
Why does the executable file name or location keep changing every updates? I have to keep creating new shortcuts.
Rex 7 Aug @ 12:48am
Hell yeah, finally someone did it. Having load orders is just miserable.
Lion 6 Aug @ 9:27pm
Need a walk through cause im too dumb
HappyToshka 6 Aug @ 7:17pm
Добавь кнопку запуска игры из программы. А так зачётная прога! Спасибо!
