Is it possible to change the distance where we see the number of items on shelves? The Camera+ mod doesn't allow me to change the view distance to see the number of items on my stacks on these shelves vs other shelves where it does. The default is so zoomed in I cant see anything else when I see how many units are on here.

When i use the "Storage Unit Settings" tab to max out the number of stacks per cell (from 12 to 1024, because i dont like having a ton of storage building) the pawns will still only go up to that previous 12 maximum.

That tab comes from Adaptive Storage Framework, and if you want to move the tab, it’s best to look for a mod that provides such a function.

Not showing up for me either, this is the only storage mod I have though I am using vanilla expanded stuff, so my question is where in the load order does this need to be to show up?

I might just be dumb, I'm not sure, but I've noticed that when trying to do trade with orbital trade ships, the orbital trade beacons won't count anything in the shelves/storage crates. Is this expected behavior? If not, is there some kind of workaround?

Otherwise a fantastic mod that saves so much space for gravship runs

I feel like an idiot, because I found the problem and it was the mod load order. Sorry for the false alarm. I'm going to leave the previous and this post up in case someone else reads it and can avoid wasting your time like I almost did ><

@seobongzu Firstly, thank you for taking the time and effort to make this mod! Well done! Secondly, I'm sorry to have to ask, but I cannot for the life of me find where in the build menus to build these things. I have the gravtech (all three tiers) already researched but I've checked the Odyssey Tab, the Structures Tab, the Machining table... I just can't find where to click to build them. Neither google nor GPT was able to figure it out either. Would you mind directing me where to actually build these :) Many thanks

holy crapping space balls batman. i have room on my ship again.... been playing on vanilla with basic shelves everywhere, had 3 dedicated storage rooms on a 1700 tile ship (probably took up 60% of all my space) and i got it down to 1 room of storage with space still for 27 stacks of crap. thank you

@seobongzu no I meant it has 100% walking speed so if you slap it in middle of corridor pawns can walk through it without slowing down

@Hello up untill now I was using "Cargo Hold" mod for ship storage https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3536708812

but this one looks way better and you can actually see what is inside the storage one the other hand "Cargo hold" functions like a floor where pawns can walk on them without losing speed would it be possible to implement something like combination of the two? I mean something like combination of Large Gravship Crate (or evel larger) and cargo hold that functions like floor and you can see what is stored inside

Had one problem recently of doing a quick hauling job threw down a big box. Problem was in my quickness I hit allow all. So people started preferring putting meals there. And then refused to ever eat from the container. And had a starving colony problem while being confused with my meal count being fine.
But overall love the storage options.

In the context of the mod, "paint" obviously refers to the vanilla paint feature. Dub's Paint Tool is not under consideration.

@seobongzu I've tried redownloading both this mod and "Dub's Paint Tool" and reordering them in the modlist but no luck. Can you confirm it is in-fact Dub's Paint Tool that is used to do it?

these look cool and i'm not mad or anything but for the space seems like they hold less then they should. mostly the weapons rack. 3 weapons? just 3? why not use the bottom self allowing 6? i see in the picture it's because they are using the bottom as a way to steady the weapon but a whine rack set up would do the same thing and hold more. everything else feels low but i can see why they are that low. the weapon rack just seems like it needs to be at least 6. but maybe that's just me.

All right just dumped it out and refilled it. For some reason it did start to place outside once they got to the bottom left corner then just went back to normal as more got placed in to *shrug*

This mod functions the same as the vanilla shelf, so if something went wrong, it was likely just a temporary issue.

dunno why, but lifter mech was having an absolute fit with this mod. it kept going to the storage i had in the freezer to grab rice (and probably put it into a hopper) but when it got there it would just turn around and forget what it was doing then repeat forever. i have some other mods, both for storage and for mechanoids, so coulda been some conflict with em? If you want the mod list to try and replicate ill hand it over, but its a long one XD

This is a minor thing I found but storing chunks puts them at an offset. I have them in a large gravship crate and they appear on the ground to the bottom left of the crate.

Here are some minor suggestions for adjustments: The storage capacity per unit volume of the Long Gravship Crate and Large Gravship Crate is actually identical to that of the standard Gravship Crate. In reality, these larger-volume designs should generally offer better value and lower construction costs, as they have less surface area per unit volume and feature no internal partitions.

Additionally, I really like the design of the safe (which only stores valuable items like silver, gold, etc.) from other mods and hope it can be added to this mod. These are just suggestions—I hope you will consider them.
