i have a suggestion: what if you could make certain layers play when the nextbot is behind a wall and certain layers play when the nextbot is visible? (so like layer 2 would be setting up tension when you cant see it, and then the nextbot pops out and then layer 1 plays)

if it does piss you off though, run nextfx_list_detected while the music is playing, and add that entity to the blacklist with nextfx_blacklist_add
