No, nothing that I could easily find searching at least. I've been doing some process of elimination testing, it's definitely a conflict with something as I was able to get it working again by removing one chunk of mods, but I've yet to nail down exactly what. 900 mods, so that'll happen.
ilyvion  [author] 27 Oct @ 7:50pm
@Shampooh: Any errors in the log?
Shampooh 27 Oct @ 9:09am
Sorta suddenly the startup impact feature seems to have stopped working. The "total time taken" text isn't appearing on the main menu, and the actual StartupImpactData.xml file isn't being made.
暴走Furry吾茗茗 26 Oct @ 9:35pm
Best mod ever!!! (If U adding hundreds of mods like me)
✿¾(kawai-victim)¾✿ 18 Oct @ 1:36pm
this is mod crush - rimhud and minimap mods!
Koilawakinni 18 Oct @ 8:34am
maybe if possible disable the not working mods?
Koilawakinni 18 Oct @ 8:32am
I'd love it if it told me what mod doesnt work so I can play
ZzZombo 17 Oct @ 8:12pm
Yeah, this mod is very nice but it should make sure that all text fits into the panels. Maybe add word wrapping?
Харон 12 Oct @ 6:34pm
Send this problem to Harmony discord and Vehicle framework too
Харон 12 Oct @ 5:55pm
Perhaps main problem can be in Harmony UI render but Im not familiar with Rimworld mod frameworks
Харон 12 Oct @ 5:54pm
maybe here still some problem even with win 10 like unable to start new game (not responding button) but I switched on win 11 before I could find problem source. Logs meanwhile was clear of any UI releated errors
Харон 12 Oct @ 5:48pm
+ blackscreen
On win 10 is no problem here but when I switched to win 11 - got this bug
to be precise, this is not only one mod with this problem - seems like any mod with custom menu UI will call this bug. For example - Vehicle Framework create same problem
TurtleShroom 11 Oct @ 2:05pm
Please consider adding a feature where, if you hold your mouse over one of the names of the Mods it counts, that a pop up tool tip will appear giving the whole name of the Mod. Right now, this is not the case, which causes Mods with really long names to be unable to be discerned. I can't see the full name of the Mod and, when multiple Mods with long names are loaded, I can't tell them apart.
ilyvion  [author] 10 Oct @ 7:39pm
Without logs I can't really do much. Once somebody comes along with a log I'll look into it.
7em1 10 Oct @ 3:38am
same problem, black screen after loading
Saltymurf 29 Sep @ 3:11am
I don't know how to get any logs or something more to help but during the loading at different points I get black screen and the only thing I can do is force close the game. When I disable this mod everything works again, It only started yesterday (well I noticed it yesterday) sorry I don't know what else to provide.
sabre 28 Sep @ 7:54pm
yeah rip that mod, @ilyvion can you repost that mod though? like cuz im p sure it was tarannchuks from github but someone forked it to steam workshop
Readtext 25 Sep @ 8:35am
Yes, I agree. Everything worked fine before. And it still works fine now. I'm using the standalone version of that mod.
ilyvion  [author] 25 Sep @ 3:49am
@Readtext: In my own testing, it's worked just fine with my mod. I even added an extra loading bar that shows up only when that mod is active that shows its mod preloading progress alongside the main loading progress.
Readtext 25 Sep @ 2:18am
I thought you had something to do with the "faster game loading" mod, since it was interfering with your loading bars.

The mod has been removed from Steam. It worked perfectly, reducing loading times from 4 to 2 minutes.
ilyvion  [author] 24 Sep @ 8:37pm
@Readtext: I don't understand the question.
Readtext 24 Sep @ 9:07am
Where did the loading speed mod go?
Bolt ⚡ 8 Sep @ 6:39pm
Getting closer to figuring out the issue, deleted the config file. Worked fine. When I enabled the tracking for mod load time it gave the issue again.
Bolt ⚡ 8 Sep @ 8:04am
After the mass Ferny updates, unable to start a new save, load new save, click any UI elements (can see them) on the main menu. Won't let me see startup time on bottom right when clicking either. Unable to get to dev menu to see any conflicts. Can see startup time while loading up though. Same issue with and without prepatcher. Removing this mod fixed. Unsure of any other conflicts.

ilyvion  [author] 7 Sep @ 10:04pm
@Annabellee: In my limited testing, this works fine with prepatcher.
ilyvion  [author] 7 Sep @ 10:03pm
@kyrambox: Can do
Annabellee 7 Sep @ 7:02am
Would this
Annabellee 7 Sep @ 7:02am
Would the affect the new prepatcher?
kyrambox 6 Sep @ 11:31pm
Ability to set bar colors in settings will be much appreciated :)
AnotherAlex 6 Sep @ 7:36pm
I needed this is my life, thank you <3

Andy 30 Aug @ 10:55pm

ilyvion  [author] 28 Aug @ 7:36pm
@TurtleShroom: Happy I could help. 🥳
TurtleShroom 28 Aug @ 6:33pm
The issue has been solved!

Here are the offending Patches:

I couldn't have done it without this awesome Mod! Thank you!
TurtleShroom 28 Aug @ 12:35pm
Where is that menu, though? I don't know where to find it.
TurtleShroom 28 Aug @ 11:50am
Thank you very much!
ilyvion  [author] 28 Aug @ 10:04am
@TurtleShroom: There is a setting to turn on startup impact tracking in the mod. If you turn that on and then click the text in the bottom right of the main menu after load, it should tell you who's the culprit.
TurtleShroom 28 Aug @ 9:59am
Using this Mod, I have found that there is a culprit that is causing my loading times to explode. There is a single PATCHOPERATIONINSERT order that has taken more time to load than everything else combined. Sadly, the Better Loading Mod doesn't tell me what it is patching, only that it is a PATCHOPERATIONINSERT command, which basically makes it useless.

Is there any information or graphs that I am missing?
ilyvion  [author] 26 Aug @ 7:32pm
@hypersonicliontamer: Not currently, but I could probably add that. Not that I get why that's all that interesting to know. 😅
ilyvion  [author] 26 Aug @ 7:31pm
@kyrambox: Don't worry about it. I do my best releasing versions that don't have flaws, but even though I test as best I can, sometimes people use different mods than I do that cause issues I don't see in my own testing.
hypersonicliontamer 26 Aug @ 4:32pm
This is great for my 720+ active list. Thanks!

Any way to know the total amount of defs being parsed?
kyrambox 26 Aug @ 8:52am
@ilyvion Sorry for being rude. You're right, just "buggy" is not enough info to fix. After last update mod shows no error. Thank you for a good job.
KeiChan0215 26 Aug @ 2:42am
Thanks for the fix! Mine still working for about 768 mods!
ilyvion  [author] 25 Aug @ 10:36pm
With big thanks to -=GoW=- Dennis and Drexl, 0.9.4 is now out with the (hopefully) last bug of the Startup Impact tracking taken care of!
ilyvion  [author] 24 Aug @ 10:11pm
I apologize for any incompatibilities this mod causes. I'd love to fix it, but unfortunately, I can't fix a problem I can't reproduce, and I regularly use my own mod with over 800 other mods without any issues.
Shiirn 24 Aug @ 7:44pm
Absolutely adore this mod - works great.

But. I loaded up my latest save a few days ago, no new mods, only a few updated, to have nearly half a dozen fundamental mods - Mint minimap, RimHUD, nice health tab, to start - failed to fully or properly load. I've spent the past two+ days narrowing down the culprit to this mod. Removing it returns me back to being able to play my 100+ hr save.

Not gonna prune through my approaching 1000 modlist to give examples, but want to confirm this does happen

I'll give it a shot again after this run, but for now I'll have to return to guessing the TPS drainer...
-=GoW=-Dennis 24 Aug @ 6:33pm
Works fine for me, also shows impact for every single mod - which the other one does not. Getting 4 minutes load time with 508 mods.
ilyvion  [author] 24 Aug @ 12:12pm
@kyrambox: I'd be happy to fix bugs, but just telling me "it's buggy" helps nobody. I use the mod successfully with a modpack of nearly 900 mods, so it can't be that buggy.
TurtleShroom 24 Aug @ 10:49am
I have nothing but eighty Mods in a test phase, and that takes me thirty minutes to load. Historically, I had over one thousand Mods running, and it took a mere eighty minutes. I should not be dealing with any load times with less than one hundred Mods.

I can't wait to see what this Mod tells me is screwing me over. I always have problems with LOADING TIMES, never lag!
kyrambox 24 Aug @ 7:40am
I'd like to use this mod but it's too buggy. Need more rework
