I think having a "they might attack rails" probability setting might be better than entirely disabling raiders attacking rails. If i was a warring faction attacking a settlement, I'd definitely want to disrupt their supply lines.

@Tris The I'll look into updating the rail def to see if there's a way to make raiders not target them. As for trains pathing through garage doors, I think that's an update that would have to come from Vehicle Framework since I believe it's a hitbox issue with the train vehicle being so wide. You could try disabling Full Vehicle Pathing mod option to see if it helps with the doors

@m13520211422 there were major changes to world layers from 1.5 to 1.6 so unfortunately this will not work with 1.5

@Jimmy Bleutron hmm I recommend opening a bug report on the Vehicle Framework discord since Trains of the Rim should only be affecting which tiles are valid for travel, not randomly stopping a caravan

I have had a few time, while traveling the world, my caravan stopping with 'Goat DE is unable to move', however goat is at full health & full fuel.
I still don't understand why it stopped, since i got NO message explaining why

I keep getting errors like "the chosen exit location (nw) is inaccessible". Is this a Vehicle Framework thing? I also only seem to be able to move the Goat, not the Frisco.

Is there some steps needed to get this to work?

@ALRayman. I had the same issue as well. When I checked the options, the build speed modifier was at 0x for some reason, which I assume means it doesn't build at all.

Had a problem with my pawns not building the railroad on the map. Started the construction but the pawns didnt worked (Progress stayed at 0/1500). After i cranked up the building speed in the modoptions the pawns started working again. Any idea about the issue?

does it allow vehicles to be loaded onto them, like in "RimThunder - Liberty of Delivery" cause im having trouble with getting vehicles from my island base to the mainland over bridges made by "Rails and Roads of the Rim (Continued)" and if so, this would make things easier

i am doing a medieval overhaul game w/industrial revolution tech, basically playing a dense city evolving from the medieval era to the victorian era. is it possible to have a rail line go through my city as a type of tram? my end game goal is to cover the entire colony tile in city, and itd be nice to have an efficient historically accurate way to transport people across it

Would be neat if railroad building speed was influenced by some stats. I imagine 4 colonists stacked with bionics and high manipulation or construction would contribute more effectively than 4 fresh pawns with baseline stats.

Actually, now that I think about it, one of RimThunder's submods has a trailer system that allows vehicles to be towed, so maybe it is possible. If so I hope that functionality is possible for trains as well.

@K8903 Unfortunately I don't think vehicles transporting other vehicles is possible with Vehicle Framework (yet, anyway), even though that would be really cool.

There is a separate mod called "Map Vehicle Framework" that DOES allow VF vehicles to be transported on said "map vehicles", but this mod doesn't use that framework and I have no idea if it would be possible to add a car that uses that mod's features to transport vehicles or not
