Not sure how I should send a bug report, but just so you have tabs on it, I am fairly certain the skin shader that the Metalblood serum uses is not supported. Looking forward to future updates! :)

Nice mod but i dont use it since its not upscaled and looks really weird with other upscaled retexture mods

@Jeeyoff, as far as I know, genie heads don't have blinking support yet. It's by head type so there won't be weird mismatches

I have added support for ALL of my xenotypes that have custom heads. <3 That's the Corvyia, Auronya, Fenrisulfr, Shisune, and the Au Ra from the FFXIV races :)

@Copy, you should be able to. You’ll probably get errors that first load just to say the Eyelid node is gone, but that’s all the code does, so should cause no problems. Haven’t tested it though.

Hi! Have you thought about integrating with other major mods that change faces and add more eyes? For example, Alpha Genes? (I’d really love that, because it looks strange that the Rejected xenotype with its four eyes only blinks with two instead of all four).

@ƎNA, no plans to add eyelids for mods, but I am working to make it so eyelids can be turned off for certain xenotypes

Not gonna lie, I didn't think I'd even notice this mod when I added it. I was very wrong. This little addition makes the pawns feel way more alive than I expected!

Hey, great mod! Will compatibility with Alpha Genes and Vanilla Pawns Retextured be added? (Alpha Genes has a problem with some of the eyes it adds, and with Vanilla Pawns Retextured pawns with colored vanilla eyes can only blink with their right eye)

That mod makes it so that eyes appear normal instead of replacing them with bionic / archotech eye textures.

I wonder if would totally override that mod or if it could be compatible depend on load order of the 2.

Sorry if this has been asked, but how does this work if the pawn has Bionic or Archotech Eyes? Are there blink animations for those, or do they just stare into your soul like normal?

also forgot to mention, that Character Editor there's some... weird artifacts showing off, also happens when the pawn sleeps to the side with yayo's animations

And just to clarify, are you talking about pawns with face extensions (like the Mind Devourer), non-human heads (like Drakonori), or eye textures (like Efreet)? I just want to be sure things are working as intended!

Hello! I wanted to suggest some options for this mod, like not having blinking animations for certain xenotypes, I play with xenotypes from Alpha Genes and some of those lack normal eyes, and they look... funny when the animation is active

So if you could add an option to exclude xenotypes for these animations it would be great!

@(≡◉‿‿◉≡), i haven't tested it yet, but I don't see why not. they're very different systems. as long as you have the eyelid textures for a head type and completely disable facial animation for the pawn (like with Big & Small genes), it should be fine

It's ridiculous how much of a difference such a simple animation makes. Pawns feel so much more alive with this mod. Awesome work! :-)

Sooooo...Does this mod work compatibly with Facial Animation?

Like if I turn off the face animation of some xenotypes on the list (e.g pigskin & dryads VRE), they will show up with the vanilla eyes blinking?

@Hypersapien, it should already have eyes closed when sleeping. Could you send me a link to your HugsLib log? What circumstances were you expecting to see eyes closed and they weren't--in bed sleeping, unconcious on the ground, etc?

This is great and ads a bit of character to the pawns. I have one suggestion. You have two frames, eyes open and eyes closed. When the character is resting, lock it onto the eyes closed frame.
