Huh weird, I might need to look into that. Do they have all the genes/protocols an android normally would have?

it's odd, because the first one i used it on, my mechanitor, was also a starjack, altho their jump ability was disabled because they had the furry tail cosmetic?

so, not sure why, but i had a pair of starjacks(upgraded through vre starjacks) change their race to awakened android...but that's it, they are still flesh and blood, still need food, all that jazz...

Well this isn't the Terminator version of Androids, with the SKY NET but it words and is kinda close. I enjoy this mod

Is there a way for the opposite to happen? Like Penny from RWBY, who is inspired by pinnochio, they start out as puppets with strings (metal vs wooden), and eventually become human!

@ADragonNamedFox just tested only for 1.6, I think the mod would probably work for 1.5 if you want to give it a shot.

Unfortunate that this doesn't work for 1.5! Not that I've actually tried to see. I'm a SOS2 player and find the vanilla gravships a bit restrictive and not super complex so still on 1.5 for now.

Does this use 1.6 exclusive methods though or was it just developed/tested for 1.6?

Could it be possible to have a permanent mood buff tied to this for transhumanist colonists? It seems like something that'd be downright euphoric for them, a full mechanical conversion of their body.

@mracobes I created the fix in my mod and I'll publish soon. Also, I created a PR on the Vanilla Expanded Github, because I don't think this is intended behavior because the synthetic immunity gene says. " They will also not suffer from toxic buildup, and are immune to the effects of tox gas"

@mracobes looking it, I think I can probably do it? If so, I'll add it to my other mod for android genes. I'll do it later today, should be simple (hopefully).

Honestly weird that aren't immune to the gas, because they have something for toxic resistance already I believe. Must be an oversight from the VE team.

Great mode! Side question: androids are vacuum adapted but have a toxic gas debuff - can this be fixed?
