The first video is a warning about epilepsy. And then they go make us flash the screen on our faces by clicking 150 videos.

I just click through them for the exercise. :)

Nice, thanks

@Blazerules : But I’m not referring to having the movies in the override directory, but rather in the movies directory. That is, the scaffolding would look like this:

MyModFiles:
├─ override → here goes your current modification
└─ movies → here go the videos with 0 seconds

This is how I managed to overwrite an original music track (by placing it in the music directory).

@Vince Montana I have attempted this method, having the movies in override folder does nothing. Something was blocking it from working. Likely the game ignores them.

If you make 0 second movies of the original names and put them in the movies folder? It could work in a workshop download, isn't It? I confirm I can override musics via workshop on this way.

Thanks. Clicking through all the logos gets old fast, especially when you test things and restart the game multiple times.

I had mods in my override folder and got the achievements for the harvest cup. I have heard only using console commands voids getting achievements.
Blazerules  [author] 19 Jul @ 2:43am
No reason it shouldn't? But to be fair my achievements haven't worked without mods to begin with because they bugged out so I can't be sure.
gingergreen 18 Jul @ 4:15pm
I assume this doesn't disable achievements?

@Shelby Heh its fine. The movies folder alone is like 1.27GB which is insane. So you saved yourself all that space!
Gooeykat 17 Jul @ 3:47pm
It works as described. Thumbs up given.
Shelby 17 Jul @ 8:09am
Nevermind. I misunderstood. I deleted ONLY the westage intro and credits. Not the other files. When I delete the other files, voila. Everything works fine.

So, user error. I would see if I can delete my post, but nope, its too funny. I knew as soon as I said something, I would figure it out.

Strangely, this does not work for me. I am also using the inventory mod but I cannot imagine that is the culprit. I also have the mod that unlocks all the hidden UI configuration options, and the enhanced dream weapon mod. I did go into the files and remove the movies, and that worked, but the other splash screens are still present.
Blazerules  [author] 17 Jul @ 6:44am
True, but when in doubt deleting always works!

There are no legal reasons for the splash screen, it's just something game devs do to slap developer labels on everything.
Blazerules  [author] 16 Jul @ 3:26pm
No problem! Requires further reading which is often missed (I know I do that.) I wish I could find a way to get rid of them via the mod, trust me I tried.

I've been digging through the files and experimenting with things but so far nothing worked, most of my focus has been on trying to get scaling to work for No Hidden Options I'll admit.

I'm sorry i didn't read it all. It does work. It didn't remove the videos so I assumed it was an issue. My mistake
Blazerules  [author] 16 Jul @ 12:52pm
@Attila The Kern
I tried it with the inventory mod, it worked. No reason it shouldn't since different .xml files. Can you tell me what happens when you start up the game? What do you see?

This mod just removes the newly added splash screen stuff (atop the old... hence why theres so many). For the rest you need to delete the contents of the movies folder (or just all but westgate intros and credits).

doesnt work. perhaps a conflict with inventory quality of life
Clangeddin.86 16 Jul @ 10:15am
Thank you for this mod, truly appreciated.

<3 Happy to help.

Thank you. 11 intro movies was a terrible first impression. This is a godsend.
