No Splash Screen

Description
This mod removes the splash intro boot screen spam on start up.

!! IMPORTANT !!

Unfortunately I can't remove the intro movies, for whatever reason the override doesn't work so you'll have to manually delete them from the Movies folder. I assume I'm either doing something wrong or they made sure you can't remove that for legal reasons.

Right click the game, manage, browse local files and go to the Movies folder. You can delete everything if you want but the innocent files are westgate intro files and the credits files.

This should remove all the splash screens.

The first video is a warning about epilepsy. And then they go make us flash the screen on our faces by clicking 150 videos.

I just click through them for the exercise. :)

@Blazerules : But I’m not referring to having the movies in the override directory, but rather in the movies directory. That is, the scaffolding would look like this:

MyModFiles:
├─ override → here goes your current modification
└─ movies → here go the videos with 0 seconds

This is how I managed to overwrite an original music track (by placing it in the music directory).

@Vince Montana I have attempted this method, having the movies in override folder does nothing. Something was blocking it from working. Likely the game ignores them.

If you make 0 second movies of the original names and put them in the movies folder? It could work in a workshop download, isn't It? I confirm I can override musics via workshop on this way.

Thanks. Clicking through all the logos gets old fast, especially when you test things and restart the game multiple times.

I had mods in my override folder and got the achievements for the harvest cup. I have heard only using console commands voids getting achievements.

No reason it shouldn't? But to be fair my achievements haven't worked without mods to begin with because they bugged out so I can't be sure.

I assume this doesn't disable achievements?
