I like this mod

@mariusz_jarzyna that is correct
mariusz_jarzyna 19 Aug @ 5:53am
These cultures got no dynasty names for characters. When a new noble is created, their dynasty gets their name from one of the counties in liege's demesne
mariusz_jarzyna 11 Aug @ 5:21am
Thanks
Świt  [author] 11 Aug @ 5:17am
@mariusz_jarzyna im not sure who in their right mind would like to do that but I added it for you
mariusz_jarzyna 10 Aug @ 6:16am
Could you also add one for Indian cultures? And possibly one for the Iranian ones

So, Finland excluded?

@jaslingard honestly no clue what are you onto here but I don't think that's called hybrydisation anymore, thats just a custom culture creation with conditions
jaslingard 18 Jul @ 10:20am
What if you set an extra condition for the hybridisation? Like a game rule or having a title decision that can only being taken by the player which instigates the event?
Świt  [author] 18 Jul @ 10:08am
@jaslingard what you essentially do with hybrydization is you create a new culture and create events for it to appear when the conditions are met. What the problem is with having neighbouring culture hybrydize is:

Primo - cultures will constantly hybrydize on the border. It will be very rare for the culture align with the ruler. This is problematic because it creates needless revolt risk and isn't very fun to deal with.
Secundo - it prevents proper assimilation due to constant flipping to the hybrid culture. It also advantages one side due to a phenomenon known as "culture groups"

In general it is considered a bad design choice to have neighbouring cultures hybrydize.
Dorvrith 17 Jul @ 1:49pm
@Świt I have not, but I will check it out!
jaslingard 17 Jul @ 11:53am
I'm not really familiar with how ck2 hybridisation works, what makes it so problematic?
Świt  [author] 17 Jul @ 8:21am
@jaslingard although hybrydizing cultures that border eachother (like greeks and turks or italians) is a terrible idea design wise due to how ck2 works; having steppe cultures become hybridized with europeans could see some work in the future. Thanks for the idea :)
jaslingard 17 Jul @ 7:12am
well they're all Byzantine related but for example: Vardariotai which would be either Pechenegs or Cumans hybridised with Greeks. Mourtatoi: from Greeks and Turkish (not Turkmen) people. Gasmouloi: from the union of Greeks and Latins (I'm not sure if there a specific group of latins but the Italians or Venetians seem to make the most sense).

@Dorvrith I don't know if you have played my other mod "Commagene" but it adds a greco-persian culture
Dorvrith 16 Jul @ 7:13pm
Greco-Persian please!
Świt  [author] 16 Jul @ 1:28pm
@jaslingard I'd make them! It's really easy, but what hybrids do you want?
jaslingard 16 Jul @ 12:49pm
Have you considered making more cultural hybridisation mods/ cultures in general outside of viking hybrids?
StarOri 16 Jul @ 8:08am
Wow that's really nice for HIP thank you!
Magnus 14 Jul @ 7:04pm
my bad I'm an idiot. I read through it and skipped right over it the first time.
Świt  [author] 14 Jul @ 5:22pm
@phantomraptor at my desk; jokes aside, it's mostly translated variations of norman
Świt  [author] 14 Jul @ 5:21pm
@Magnus Consider reading the FAQ
Magnus 14 Jul @ 4:37pm
Where is East slav for Russians? Vikings actually ruled in that area for awhile even get two Viking starts in 867 in Novgorod and Keiv.
phantomraptor63 14 Jul @ 3:53pm
Where did you come up with the names for the cultures

@Halban IV what update do you need?
Halban IV 12 Jul @ 1:34pm
When update?
Cisowianka >:) 12 Jul @ 5:32am
Very good mod frfr I recommend this with my whole family and wife (femboy wife)
Świt  [author] 12 Jul @ 3:32am
@StarOri Hello again, check the description :)
Świt  [author] 12 Jul @ 2:25am
@StarOri Hello, it will work, but won't interact with cultures added from the mod. I can make a patch to make them work with this if you care.
StarOri 12 Jul @ 2:07am
Hello, this looks neat! Is it compatible with HIP and especially the map submod SWMH?
