Is there any sort of guide on how to use it? I tried painting the map at the start, changing some tiles, but couldnt get it to work.

Would this allow lore details for custom xenotypes, too? I've always wished I could attach a little lore to it.

@Clockwork I noticed this happening too, but I have over 100 mods active, so it could be a conflict with something else, I haven't done any testing to try and narrow it down yet.

Somehow rocks and mountains dont spawn on my tiles. Has anyone had the same problem?

Currently having a bug where saved information for factions (e.g. changed names/description) is erased upon reopening the game (but not erased between loading the world multiple times in the same instance of the game). Is anyone else experiencing this and does anyone have a fix?

@dom Yeah, in my case coloured item in inventory appears to be changed but when a pawn tries to wear customized clothes new colours do not apply.

Also got issues with Map Editor. Changes do not appear. Is it just me or can anybody confirm to have same problems?

not sure if I misunderstood the limits of the customize function but it seems as if when coloring any clothing item it is back to its default color when equipped by a pawn.

Take all the time y'all need, Ferny! I'm currently making a custom world as an expansion for a mod I'm making based on my webnovel, and it's genuinely a dope experience being able to add all the lore and world itself. I mean my only real complaint would be coasts, as those aren't updated with the placement of tiles and when deleting a continent, it leaves a bright blue patch. However, y'all have done what I imagined impossible at one point, and with that comes obvious limitations. You've outdone yourselves with this mod, as well as all of your other mods. So, take all the time y'all need!

Also @Ferny experiencing an issue where when painting tiles on the world map I cannot "delete" features by making the features box blank, it just keeps that tile's original feature (e.g. mixed biome). This is an issue because I have several tiles that are mixed biome and I painted over with one biome, the game is giving me red errors regarding having a mixed biome tile but no nearby biomes of a different type.

A little disappointing to hear that this mod got put on the backburner, I was waiting until the (then) upcoming update before starting my next playthrough. C'est la vie, there are always other games in the meantime at least.

@That_Annoying_Guy When you look at the map in left bottom corner there should be a "world" button. Map editor is located there.

@Lucinda Not at the moment but as ferny mentioned below in the comments this feature will be added sometime in the future.

@Ferny No worries, i've resorted to just changing the tech level in the save file itself. Afterwards I did find that Random Factions (Continued) was going absolutely bonkers, with VEF noting there were /5000+/ factions ready to add after setting the tech level to unrestricted. So it might just be an issue with that and WTL, outside of World Builder (: TY for the response anyhow!

@DeathDragon No, you likely can't. But you can just turn off the customization button on the bottom right toggle button, so you can make it so its basically invisible and has no presence in your game.

Hey Ferny, I hope everything's going good for you. Worldbuilder plays great with my 480+ modlist, so props! It's a very well oiled machine. Now, I do have a question for you: When I edit and save an item's description it changes everywhere except for the little tooltip that appears when you hover over an item in a pawn's gear tab. Not sure if that's a bug, but if not could it be something you and the lads consider adding later? Didn't see anyone mention it yet, so I figured I'd ask. Cheers.

hello, i have one question but, i use a mod that reduce the size of the planet for optimization purposes. Would it be compatible together ? Also, i use a mod to make faction spawn with each other, would it be also compatible ?

Is this anything thats feasibly patchable? I'm assuming the root cause of this issue stems from my abomination of a modlist but perhaps this info is useful for you and error handling for this specific type of issue can be improved? Wishful thinking :s

Heya fernster, i've run into a weird issue in combination with World Tech Level (and a metric cockton of other mods tbf) that basically hard-locks the game, where upon changing the world tech level it freaks out on the faction add window and won't proceed in any way.

World Tech Level's author says:
Looks like Worldbuilder contains a patch that attempts to add extra details to faction descriptions. However, it fails to do so for one of the factions (possibly a faction added by one of your other mods) and throws an error.

World Tech Level wants to display faction descriptions when you hover over rows in its dialog. So this is why the error happens at that particular point.

I recommend reporting this to the authors of Worldbuilder, because this can only be fixed on their end.

@MajorityOfTheInternet You don't have to wait for each tile, you can click and drag and do it en mass. But yeah, brush sizes are coming later.

Are you able to go into any further detail about the planned improved painting tool? Will you be able to draw an outline and have all the space in between automatically become that biome type? Also any ETA on such an update.

Appreciate all your hard work, love being able to add custom images of my pawns to the game as well.

Please add a brush size for world tile changing, WorldEdit2 had it and you could paint your own landmasses without tediously waiting for every tile.

@SirGreen I'm sorry I just know this issue is non-existent. Customize button will appear on everything you click, and world menu are impossible to not appear if you have worlds installed. Maybe its some bizarre undiscovered incompatibility or you didn't install the mod properly

@Parabellumxviii That's the intended color picker. Its a little weird cause it uses some lingo from lighting but its the most customizable color picker in the vanilla game.

@ferny So, when you research advanced lighting, it allows you to change the colours of your lights. When I go to customise furniture (like this bed, for example), instead of using the colour palette from your mod, it seems to default to the this instead:

I really love this mod but I've got a strange thing going on. Most of the things I try to customise in the colony (pillars, workbenches etc.), it uses the colour system for changing lighting colours. I'm at a complete loss at to what could be causing this.
