Why do people even post em
Termin.x 15 Oct @ 12:49pm
i think we should all report the copy n' paste comments so that the people who do them get warned or community banned or something, just a thought
А будет работать задний бани хоп как в хл2?

is there an addon that restricts your HEV suit functionality stuff (such as sprinting and the flashlight) until you actually collect an HEV suit or turn on the HEV suit functionality? I recall seeing one but I'm not sure if it works too well with this.
meierhans 13 Aug @ 3:44am
Seems to be fixed. THX!
UndeadRyker  [author] 10 Aug @ 6:28pm
Ah my mistake. It's rolled back properly now
sadie! <3 10 Aug @ 6:11pm
It's still having the rubber banding issue we were having with the second version of the experimental. Are you sure it was rolled back to the first version?
UndeadRyker  [author] 10 Aug @ 6:02pm
Arrrg hopefully it's fixed now. The consequences of not being able to be a true client to test is showing here
meierhans 10 Aug @ 5:39pm
Gibhaus Lambda... not Gibhaus Lambde... :steambored:
meierhans 10 Aug @ 5:26pm
Wow, quick reaction time! Sadly your update did not fix the problem, still getting the same error every frame.

If you want to analyze in place, you can join Gibhaus Lambde server under Campaign gamemode.
UndeadRyker  [author] 10 Aug @ 5:13pm
Updated. Files were likely being loaded out of order
UndeadRyker  [author] 10 Aug @ 4:58pm
Odd, I'm unable to reproduce this even with Ulx running. I suspect GMod updated the workshop addon when it first starts up but it didn't get rid of the old Lua files that were already loaded into memory. Does it still happen after a game/server restart?
Comrade Blue 10 Aug @ 4:46pm
I'm getting the same issue as mentioned below
meierhans 10 Aug @ 4:43pm
Since the last update addon throws error every frame for me:

[ERROR] lua/autorun/shared/sh_ur_hl2ifier.lua:136: attempt to index a nil value
1. fn - lua/autorun/shared/sh_ur_hl2ifier.lua:136
2. unknown - lua/ulib/shared/hook.lua:109 (x3582)

This is on a dedicated server with quite some other stuff running, so you addon might not be the cause. Anyhow, it shows up at first.

Still loving your addon, yet questioning myself if (pretty much) same feeling gameplay wise could be archived by changing the right convars in server.cfg manually.
sadie! <3 10 Aug @ 4:40pm
Thanks for the updates, seriously.
UndeadRyker  [author] 10 Aug @ 12:11pm
I see, thanks again. Updated this to use the first experimental version as a compromise. To completely fix it for multiplayer, it'd probably involve using a different hook event (probably SetupMove instead of FinishedMove) and rewriting some functionality to account for it. But HL2ifier’s already in its EOL phase because it’s pretty addon-unfriendly, so I’m not planning any big updates for now :thomascat:
sadie! <3 10 Aug @ 12:14am
They're rubber banding forward upon jumping
UndeadRyker  [author] 9 Aug @ 7:26am
Thank you for testing! I just attempted to fix rubber banding on jumps in experimental. Please try it whenever you have time and if all's well, I'll merge it into the current stable version :100smile:
sadie! <3 8 Aug @ 12:22pm
It's like, near perfect after some testing. there's still some rubber banding on jumps, but it's SO MUCH better than before. Thankyou.
sadie! <3 8 Aug @ 11:53am
Thanks, I'll give it a test
UndeadRyker  [author] 8 Aug @ 11:50am
Since I'm unable to test for that issue, please let me know if this experimental version works for you and your friends. Don't forget to disable/unsubscribe from current HL2-ifier first: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3544836790
UndeadRyker  [author] 7 Aug @ 8:37am
Alrighty I’ll see what I can do
sadie! <3 6 Aug @ 3:20pm
ive had 3 friends confirm the exact same results
sadie! <3 6 Aug @ 3:19pm
yeah i tested, my friends with high ping rubber band when jumping, but when i turn hl2-ifier off they dont rubber band at all.
SleepyNotDead 6 Aug @ 1:02pm
okay nvm its server settings messing up the friction setting.
SleepyNotDead 6 Aug @ 1:01pm
crouch speed is VERY slow like, can barely move slow?
I just played HL2 and its definitely not like that.
Jariner 6 Aug @ 8:08am
nice, what "physcannon_instant" does is disabling being able to use it while its deploy animation is playing, which is how it functions in HL2.
UndeadRyker  [author] 6 Aug @ 6:50am
Added option to enforce physcannon_instant
Jariner 5 Aug @ 1:02pm
i know this is supposed to change movement and physics, but since it includes the option to slower the weapon switch animation, could there be an option to change "physcannon_instant" to 0, as in disabling it?
0Sn0w1 3 Aug @ 1:23pm
dont work with TFA
UndeadRyker  [author] 26 Jul @ 11:19pm
Yea you're likely just misremembering. HL2 & HL2:DM doesn't do the insta-crouch mid-air, but in other source engine games like TF2 and of course GMod that does happen
marsh 26 Jul @ 11:11pm
Ah alright then, maybe I am just crazy or misremembering, perhaps both.
UndeadRyker  [author] 26 Jul @ 11:01pm
@marsh
HL2 does the same
UndeadRyker  [author] 26 Jul @ 11:01pm
Maybe but this does nothing advanced so it shouldn't be jankier compared to how GMod handles movement by default
sadie! <3 26 Jul @ 2:24pm
can u add clientside prediction to this, my friends w high ping think its very jank netcode wise
marsh 24 Jul @ 4:51am
Seems like the duck speed change affects crouch jumping, I've noticed it's more difficult as you can't insta crouch mid-air, unsure if it's like that in hl2
0Sn0w1 23 Jul @ 9:56am
thank you:bms_crowbar:
Vidgamenut 22 Jul @ 5:15pm
Thank you for keeping your code clean & commented!
Euge 22 Jul @ 2:37pm
TFA IS FIXED THANK YOU FOR ADDING AN OPTION FOR IT
:{P1}:Skully8600 21 Jul @ 7:07pm
this mod breaks TFA base btw
buster bludknutt 18 Jul @ 3:39pm

Localization rules are weird. Moved the settings to Utilities>Admin>Half-Life 2-ifier Settings so no more extra tabs
soda 17 Jul @ 8:41am
bnuuy
Cj ROCKS 16 Jul @ 10:46pm
Just noticed I now have 2 separate Options tabs... I had Tool Organizer I uninstalled it and it's still the same https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3527740057
Cj ROCKS 16 Jul @ 10:37pm
oh ok! I misremembered HL2's gravity value
idiot with skill issue 16 Jul @ 8:25pm
One day there was a guy named Gus, he died, the end.
UndeadRyker  [author] 16 Jul @ 5:35pm
@Vidgamenut
Yea, it now properly uses the hardcoded GMod Options tab that actually is localized
UndeadRyker  [author] 16 Jul @ 5:34pm
It would be less accurate since HL2 uses 600 by default, but it would still be accurate if you set HL2 to use 800
Cj ROCKS 16 Jul @ 5:28pm
What would happen if I set the gravity to 800 the same as HL2, is the movement going to be less or more accurate?
