@GULÉ, bro, you're running over 500 mods, it's going to be hard to pin down the issue. Which of those lines (give us a line number range so we know where to look) mention this mod? I scrolled for a while and saw mention of a bunch of issues relating to VFE Empire mod, which seems to be giving a lot of people issues.

I'm getting a lot of red errors and lags from this mod. Could you please check?

surprise of the day, it was neither this mod nor puah. i have no idea anymore what's going on with my prisoners, which mod's fault it could be.
Balthazad 5 Sep @ 2:25pm
turrns out, it was THIS mod that prevented my prisoners from eating the food infront of them. not the nearby-mod.

could pls all Pick Up And Haul, CommonSense, While You Are Nearby & While You're Up modders come together and make something functional as we had in times long, long ago?
literally half of all the ppl that ever bought rimworld are subbed to these mods - and as of now, it seems to not be working as intended for anyone.

Broken, causes pawns to wander even when there's high priority work
Balthazad 15 Aug @ 1:00am
still the same bugs as in 1.4

doesn't work at all anymore
worked in 1.3
----------------------
i had this also reported on the original, but just to have it repeated here: pawns act as if the mods weren't there. 150+ wood on the floor, the pawns woodwork job destination is next to the wood storage, they come pick up the 3 they miss and walk off with 147 left on the floor.
same as with looting kills, there's a spear and batch of silver and a corpse - sometimes they would pick it all up, sometimes i'd have to manually pick them all the stuff.
afaik i'm not using any other mods that touch any code even nearby.
pretty sure this mod needs a remake!

This mod just makes half of my pawns standing around doing nothing...

Is this intended to be incompatible with While You Are Nearby? The other mod notes this one as a recommended mod and I believe to have had both on 1.5. On 1.6 however, when using both, maps fail to generate and a infinite logspam about JobGiver issues arises.

After adding this mod, my pawn now use random shelf generated on map, could you add a condition to not use unclaim shelf, it would help a lot

@Rose ♡ It's to do with hauling opportunities, not job priority: extra hauling is detoured in when navigating to a job if the haul destination is near to the job.
Have a look at the original mod's page for more details, this is just a temporary 1.6 patch since the original developer is taking a break.

whats the difference between this and while you are nearby?

My understanding is that the idle pawns is caused by 10 jobs in 1 tick, which this mod exaggerates but doesn't directly cause; unfortunately i just don't think there is a simple solution when running extremely large modpacks.

A substantial rewrite could probably help reduce the issues, and debug them when they do occur, but that's not in the remit for a quick 1.6 patch (along with other stuff like threading considerations).
KawwaK 17 Jul @ 1:43pm
According to the comments, the issue of idle pawns is caused by Pick Up And Haul and not by this one. I just removed PUAH and the issue is gone.
Nick 17 Jul @ 9:03am
Same issue as KawwaK, removing this mod doesn't seem to fix it but starting a new file without this mod makes the idle issue go away. Also using PUAH
Zerotheliger 17 Jul @ 6:12am
i... 3400???! what how the heck are you running 3400 mods.
Ling 16 Jul @ 1:45pm
Thanks for updating this, using this in my modpack with 3400 mods and works flawlessly
KawwaK 16 Jul @ 7:08am
Mmmm... I added it to an ongoing run and my colonists go idle. Using PUAH too (and another 2000 mods, o issues so far)
Q2F2ZSBKb2huc29u  [author] 15 Jul @ 10:18am
It works with any version of PUAH as long as they didn't make major changes or go renaming all the functions, so probably
OpGamer97 15 Jul @ 8:31am
Does this work with Pick Up And Haul 1.6 Forked?

Thank you

@azrazalea Good catch, it turns out WYU uses a name check to detect PUAH but ONLY in the mod settings, and that fork changed the name field in About.xml.

Purely visual but I've changed the check to use the same logic as elsewhere, so it should work for any PUAH forks now unless they go around changing the function signatures.
azrazalea 5 Jul @ 7:24am
This might be purely visual, but in the mod options while you're up is saying it can't detect pick up and haul even though I'm using the version you have linked above

@moo Cool, I'll just double check it and change the link
