while you can get support there, its often boiled down to checking for known conflicts and people bullying others for not knowing how every detail works, there is a reason not many people suggest that discord.
I don't want people to go there if the issue is with this mod. Is there any issue in sending people to discord's Troubleshooting section for general modlist issues ?
@Dr. Beard : The bug might have been fixed in the latest version.
The master branch of git is not up to date.
- Don't process already colored strings in gear tab
I have rebuilt the dll of the mod that I took on the master branch from github and there is no longer a problem with the same set of mods. It's strange that the dll that was in fashion (downloaded on steam) and the one that I compiled from the last update on github are different in size.
Did you have other mods when this error occured ?
Hi! I'm using your mod! He's very cool. I ran into a bug today. I bought a sword from the empire. When viewing the pawn inventory, a graphical error occurs. The inventory is not displayed and all windows, while it is open, show only shadows without information. A blood-bearing synchromech. The quality is normal.
@~☽~MOON~☾~ : Tainted Apparel should be fixed in latest version.
- Minor performance improvements
- Better logging for potential performance issues
I've found the error message and hope to send it to you.
but just for feedback: i believe the color wheel shouldnt return white no matter what color is selected when brightness is turned to max. at max brightness it should return exactly the color seen on the wheel, only lower brightness will darken the returned color. basically exactly what the brightness slider ui element currently incorrectly displays. it would make using it a lot more intuitive. this is also how color wheels usually function from my experience.
alternatively the brightness slider could just be grayscale no matter the color selected. that way it would at least not lie to you, tho it would be a little less intuitive to use than option 1.
The problem occurred because RimWorld was passing an empty string in the ideology UI, and the mod attempted to look up this empty string in the cache. I’ve now added checks to handle null or empty strings properly.
I've been having a great experience playing with this mod, and I truly appreciate your prompt attention and the quick resolution. Thank you so much once again.
