Hello Moebius118, the models for the Arkbird and XB-0 are quite finicky to rotate, but they do rotate when you find the sweet spot.

The optical camouflage for the Gleipnir can be turned off by waving the light brush tool under it.

The sweet spot for elevating the Spiridus is near the end of its wings due to the model.

For the superweapon ships like the arkbird or XB0 is there a trick to adjusting their rotation? Also the gleipnir seems stuck in invisible mode and also I can't set the elevation on Spiridus

No probs!

Appreciated. Never understood what the scaffolding was for until now
Aufschwung  [author] 19 Sep @ 6:40pm
It is a separate mod that uses the invisible scaffolding from Hamster Industries.
BBQbans 19 Sep @ 4:46pm
How do you make the prop aircraft, like the smaller jets, float in the air as they are shown here? Is that a separate mod?
Aufschwung  [author] 24 Aug @ 8:21am
Please specify which ships and how they should be relit, because all of these models have been based semi-accurately on reference images from the Ace Combat franchise, artist fan renditions of their design, and the original design drafts.

I am sure you mean no harm with your suggestion, but it is rather too abstract of a suggestion.
Modern 24 Aug @ 7:21am
All of the ships honestly, it would add a lot to the details!

As for a deep reason on why there is Ace Combat-related stuff in the Dystopika community, it is because when I first bought and played this game, the immediate thought I had was the lack of arm forces or weaponry.

Before I started modding, the only mod that had weapons was the "Bastion District - Modular Wall Set." And, there were okay to start, but not enough to satisfy my needs for an armed force.

And, the first thought I had for modding this game was basically have a big fucking gun. I recall some memories of Stonehenge from deep dive lore videos that I used to watch, especially about fictional weapons.

So, why not? Add Stonehenge into Dystopika. And, here we are.

Hell, I did not even play the games or knew the lore, I simply loved the design of these outrageously humongous weapons.
Aufschwung  [author] 24 Aug @ 12:18am
Hello Tanker, well, it simply spiraled out, After I released this mod, someone asked me “Excalibur when?”

And, it took some digesting before it finally set in that it would be cool as fuck to have an Ace Combat Superweapon Collection like my Emplacement Collection.

So, got to modeling and before I knew it, there were 12 superweapons.

also i'd like to ask
i've been seeing A LOT of ace combat related stuff in this community, I Think it fits alright but i need to know why
note know nothing about ace combats lore
Aufschwung  [author] 23 Aug @ 3:53pm
Which flying ships are you referring to that needs more lighting?
Modern 23 Aug @ 3:49pm
Like lighting that adds more to the ships so they arent just black. Side windows, headlights coming from the bottom, etc. Like Aurora from Subnautics or an even better example being No Mans Sky Freighters where they have lights all around
Aufschwung  [author] 23 Aug @ 2:02pm
Hello Modern, may you clarify your suggestion with any form of reference images?
Modern 23 Aug @ 11:22am
please add cool headlights or decorative lights when we use the lighting too! It would add a lot to the flying ships
Kingsman_kings 22 Aug @ 8:57am
it's just soo fucking cool

Hello DevlDogCJ,

The "balls" that I think you are referring to is the Active Protection System of the Arsenal Bird.

Yes, you are able to make them smaller and they are currently fixed at diameter of 1,500 meters. Accurate to the lore and game, the shields are supposed to be fixed at 3,500 meters; however, they would be too big for Dystopika.

You can use them by placing them on top of the Arsenal Bird when it is adjusted to its maximum height.

Here is a demonstration of what that looks like: Ace Combat 7 - Arsenal Bird Scenes.

Though, it is not exclusively used for the Arsenal Bird and can be used to place holographic shields over a section of a city or the city itself.

Hope that helps!
DevlDogCJ 14 Aug @ 12:01pm
Is there any way to make the "balls" smaller then they go in the files or something? I have an idea to use them as plasma balls but they are way to big

Thank you for your recommendation, william_greenlee, I will consider it.

But, I have to clarify that I only take on these recommendations, suggestions, or requests if they coincide to what I plan to mod in the future.

Otherwise, have fun with my mod!
william_greenlee 12 Aug @ 1:08pm
i recommend adding the crashing arsenal bird overall great mod
JBJunior 3 Aug @ 11:38pm
the aircraft props are the cherry on top for this, excellent work!

If you are referring to adding content from Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, then I do not know what you are talking about, because I have not played any game from the Ace Combat franchise.
ICAT 16 Jul @ 4:19pm
This seems like the type of game that could benefit from electrosphere buildings
