@gmccabe25...try unsubscribing to it then subscribing again. If this doesnt fix it then try doing a verify of your game files.

About a month ago, I commented with the request of a "generic building" tack, which may be necessary when wanting to chain to an area with superior adjacencies. Is there any chance that could please be implemented into the mod?

Thank you for firstly creating this mod, and second for keeping it updated. I will not play Civ 7 without it. I hope in the future the makers of Civ 7 pay you very well for your work.

It seems there is still something wrong with the mod, problem that the entire ui disappear still exist. But still, great mod, really helps a lot. hope you can fix them soon!

Updated the mod to be compatible with 1.2.5. I tested some basic use cases and they are working fine now.

I launched up VII again because I was curious to see what the new updates were like, and was quickly disappointed when I realized that the mod was broken. No shade to the mod makers, y'all have a tough job.

The fact that such a basic and essential mechanic like map tacks isn't in the core game, and that players have to rely on mods, is an indictment on Firaxis and all the execs who stuck their grubby little hands in this game. You're all shit at your jobs and you should all be fired.

Honestly I don't know why map tacks are not implemented into the base game already. The game without this mod is unplayable. 5 stars, this mod is definitely the best thing after sliced bread.

After the update when you select the Map Tacks option the entire UI for the Map Tacks disappears until you escape out of it. I love this mod and appreciate all your hard work. Hope you can get things up and running again soon.

WAAH! I switched to the Steam Workshop version and now when I click the Map Tacks button I get no UI for the tacks. In a very short time this mod has become indispensible to me.

It's funny, I grabbed this mod immediately because I liked having detailed tacks in Civ 6. But what I've found is that just the "settlement center" tab is the absolute best UI for finding good places to put settlements. It shows the borders, uses nice intuitive colors to show resources, natural wonders, navigable rivers, and city overlap, it's just great. I haven't even got around to using the other tacks.

(Partly because building wonders doesn't require the centuries-early planning and optimization that it did in Civ 6.)

is there any chance we can download the old version of this mod? Im having trouble to run 1.2.4 with my mods as some of them havent been updated and the one on civfanatics is not working with 1.2.3....

It's not working for me. I can see the button above the mini-map but when I hover nothing happens. Literally unplayable without it :(

Hi I as hoping to give some feedback on the mod. I love it and it's a must have for me, otherwise i end up messing up my district placement. This may be a niche scenario or it only happens to me because I have MS but i was hoping we could maybe add a big red X or something to mark tiles that you want to completely ignore or to mark as a district that will already be full of something you can't remove.

Is there a “how to play with map tacks” tips and tricks thread or video somewhere? I tried to get into them in Civ VI but they never stuck for me. So many people love them - I would like to try again, maybe with some suggestions for how to approach them usefully?

Amazing Mod! Can't imagine playing without it.

Wish List: Shift-Click to place the same tack on multiple tiles.

I often add the improvement tack all around the city center to get a better visual of the Farm / Mine / Woodcutter distribution.

I just launched the game and tried and didn't have the same issue, maybe try disabling all other mods to see if it works then and if so re-enable the rest of your mods a few at a time until you find the conflict.
