- New update is out! Scripts were rewritten to utilize new weapons methods added by patch 1.4. This should prevent any conflict with any mods that modify base game weapons.
- Sound radius is also buffed to match the 5.7 with NB suppressors, making it the ultimate silent operative weapon.

@lincolnp no worries. You are not the only one that requested the Karambit and if it's not me, someone else will make it eventually. The big hurdle is animation which takes a lot of time and effort.

If you need some reference material that would work for the top down perspective, check out Maul Mornie on YouTube. His fighting style is pretty compact and and close up, so it might look good with the games visuals, and it might not be too hard to animate? The other extreme would be guys like Kevin Secours, who did all the karambit motion capture for Splinter Cell Blacklist and Ghost Recon Wildlands/Breakpoint, IIRC. His fighting style (insofar as those games are concerned) is far more elaborate. However if you look him up on YouTube you might find some stuff that might inspire. Another guy to look at night be Doug Macaida, whose style is a lot more natural and free flowing, but still compact and efficient. He might have some stuff to offer that might be easier to animate.

@3556437451 it crashed in checkDLC, that is part of customization+. My T95 mod does not have any checkDLC function.

Also spy confirms that the crash on startup is actually a memory leak issue. It will be fixed soon.

I have found so far at least three instances that causes a similar crash with xiao specific mod list: Customization+, Quieter Suppressor and AK12/AK15. This is completely bizare because all of these mods when tested with a much shorter mod list, they will all function just fine. Xiao even helped with the testing and can confirm that Customization+ and AK12 did not cause the crash.

I think the main issue is actually load order so this is a very tricky case. It might not even occur because of the order you install the mods. For some disabling a completely functioning mod like the AK12 or the T95 can fix it but for some that won't be the case. The main branch version 1.3 will dump out a crashlog that says Customization+ is the one causing the issue even though it works perfectly fine with 1.3.

Xiao's mod list is basically everything on the workshop so I guess this is the best solution I have for now. Either this or the OCP might sadly have to be disabled for vanilla weapons.

@xiao and @3556437451 It's actually not from the T95 mod. That mod is a very basic weapon mod with no advance function whatsoever and does not modify any vanilla values.

I have found that disabling Koji's Quieter Suppressor mod resolves all conflicts. This was tested on the Beta branch.

I think there is a bigger issue at play. But since the game generates no crashlog for this type of crash, I have no actual logical way to diagnose this besides disabling every mod 1 by 1.

@xiao No problem. This is so weird. I tested it with Customization+ activated and deactivated, no DLC and with DLC as well. Every situation runs normally.

Can you provide me more information? What mods do you currently have right now? Which version of the game are you using (current live release 1.3 or BETA 1.4)?

When you say the game cannot launch, does that mean clicking on the game and nothing happens? Or do you get a red screen with a crashlog? If you get a crashlog, can you copy it here so I can try to see where it failed?

New update is out. The OCP is now available on both the 5.7 and Mk. 23 pistol.

This mod must be installed BEFORE Customization+ for the OCP to appear on the 2 base game pistol.

Long term, probably with custom animations and launcher but this is very very long from now.

@koji If you want you can make the Mk.1 since it is chambered in 9mm or something not 5.7. It also has a drastically different design based on a Walther P99
