There's not really much of a reason to. RealSpace's description already mentions the compatibility with TrueSpace patches. It pretty much just says what I said here lol

Oh, something else to note: TrueSpace patches naturally work with RealSpace out of the box, so the majority of the time, a modder won't have to make a patch for both TrueSpace *and* RealSpace, as there's simply nothing to patch for it.

The reason for this is because RealSpace makes most of its changes through editing the star orbital regions, not the planet spawn types to my knowledge. Most of that is just the original TrueSpace from what I'm aware, and that's the only thing most TrueSpace patches touch (By adding the patched planet to the appropriate ones so they'll spawn on TrueSpace stars)

Do these truespace patches also work with RealSpace? RealSpace is the spiritual successor and actually gets updated.
