Make sure to actually turn it on in the launcher.

This mod will not work for me, on a fresh install with no other mods so id say its broken currently...

I've tried changing mod orders but it seems your mod takes priority over my other one.

Nevertheless, thank you for providing clarity.
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 25 Aug @ 11:06pm
Yes it does (more penalties on higher taxes, less punishment on lower taxes).
You can try prioritising your mod over this one in the launcher, that might work.

I understand that this mod also adds a Public Order buff to Rome (at +25), does this mod also changes how the tax rates work? I can't seem to use my other mod that changes tax rates.

This should not be DEI compatible :0
Kryzzan 20 Aug @ 10:01pm
This would genuinely be impossible to survive while using DEI

1. Subscribe to the mod, wait till it will be downloaded (this mod isn't heavy, so won't take long)
2. Run the game's launcher (launcher ≠ game)
3. In the launcher find Modifications tab (or Mods, whatever it is)
4. Turn desired mods on and then launch the game
5. Enjoy playing modded game

I am probably being thick here, but how do I start the Mod, I've booted the game up with just this Mod and nothing happens just default vanilla campaign, is this DLC based or something? :)
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 11 Aug @ 6:17am
@Interfector ex Domini - yeah, true, wish i did that with this mod ngl XD
No, you cannot, i made it so you won't be able to make any protectorates upon conquests. This was done with a thought, that you actually need the achievement, and to make it more fitting the campaign's idea (war against all, no other option).
nice! i wish i had this mod when i went for the Total war achievement

can you still vassalise/liberate cities after conquests of them?
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 26 Jul @ 8:21am
You definitely should not be able to ask for peace no matter the circumstances - so that may be affected by DEI; the AI may offer you peace, - unfortunately, i have not enough knowledge to fix that issue for now.
R3flex 26 Jul @ 8:13am
I can make peace and the AI ask for peace.. Is it beacause I run with DEI? I have the mod on top of my loading order

Thanks a lot!

I'm really glad to hear the difficulty feels right - tough but fair is exactly what I was going for. The garrison and economy boosts were meant to help with that drawn-out early game, so it's great to know they're working as intended.

Good luck with your campaign once the Marian reforms kick in - hope it's a glorious one! :Birds:

I'm loving this so far! You've done a great job with the difficulty. It's hard and I've been on the defensive for 30-40 turns now, but it's never felt hopeless. The garrison buildings are a great help, as are the aids you gave to the economy. Can't wait to get my Marian reforms and start pushing!

ooh, this looks very interesting. What if I experienced a shogun 2 real divide in turn 1 as Rome?
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 22 Jun @ 3:23pm
Yes, it will work with other mods enabled.

It is compatible with mods that don't change your starting positions; for everything else - just set this mod's priority on the top amd you should be good to go.
ToxicMar1ne 22 Jun @ 2:52pm
I know its an independent mod, but will it work with other mods enabled? Or do all other mods have to be disabled?
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 19 Jun @ 1:29pm
Thanks a lot, @DanusTheManus! Really happy to hear you're enjoying it — that means a lot! :spiffo:
DanusTheManus 19 Jun @ 1:09pm
I just want to say I am really enjoying this mod and its challenges.
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 18 Jun @ 5:23pm
No, it's an independent mod. In order for it to work, you'd have to start a new campaign, and, well, the mod has to be turned on in the game's launcher.
DanusTheManus 18 Jun @ 3:02pm
does this need any other mods subscribed for this to work
UnTypeOrdinaire 16 Jun @ 3:21pm
I'm currently in, it does bring enjoyable Attila vibes. Althought the AI is still dogshit (even tough you seem to have greatly improved it, some tendencies to blob seem hardcoded) in battles (and the fact that I usually do not like vanilla) , it's very fun to grind down waves of ennemies and the experiene is challenging.

I really like your mod here, it'll do a very fun campaign (hopefully, the late game AI empire will continue to pose a threat until the official win of the campaign).
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 16 Jun @ 12:24pm
Good luck :o. My recommendation - build Garrisons on the frontlines, and you should be fine :spiffo:, and don't be in a hurry to conquer everything, - overstretching isn't a good thing!
lievka 16 Jun @ 4:42am
Thank you I will try this but I only have 340 hours
UnTypeOrdinaire 15 Jun @ 7:03pm
Thanks for the fix, will try again tomorrow

Q: can you get 'This Is Total War achievement' here?
A: yes, you can
