The gameplay is the not the highlight here: encounters are brief and inoffensive, but unremarkable. What stands out is the map design, art direction, and atmosphere. Really phenomenal stuff, tonally without flaw, and true to Halo as a concept. 343 could never

Very solid levels, only thing i think that should be added is maybe more enemies, especially around the covenant ship, what is there is pretty good and well made though.

Great level, super great, however, there should be at least 10x more enemies of all kinds in every interaction to make it like a real battle. Would you consider it?

I suppose the only minor downside would be it'd have been nice if your ODST could follow with you better, mine sort of just hung around outside the large facility and wouldn't come in. A few reinforcements of ODST would have been neat, it felt like a very lonely mission, but that's on-point to a classic Halo CE mission anyways.

I guess one other tiny malus would be that the overall difficulty was pretty low - Especially in Halo 2 standards, but for Halo: CE, its pretty much on point. Could have used a few "Gotcha" moments - some flanking enemies, ambushes maybe.

A tiny bit more fanfare on the short escape after blowing up the reactor would be pretty cool, wasn't too dramatic and the music was a bit quiet. I also wasn't quite sure how many times I was supposed to shoot the reactor, so that took me a bit.

Overall...really excellent! Great job on it. Even any gripes I had don't matter, its a better map than 99% of people could make.

Fun little mission! The stuff I liked about it...

Maps were nice and airy. Plenty of simple geometry and scenery - felt very much like Halo: CE, clean and well designed.

The vehicle sections were good, but the those parts could easily be played on foot too - which was nice.

The overall vistas of being able to see where the next part of your mission is cool. I always enjoy going "Ah, I'm probably heading over there!"

The layout was excellent, felt like a shorter Halo CE mission, everything was well directed.

Good weapon variety and encounters! Multiple routes to many "Fight zones". Whether letting you take a stealthy approach, use snipers, or just grab two needlers and spray - there was good verticality benefiting from this a lot.

All you had to say was this mission was basically the cut Covenant Ship level from Halo 2 and I would have been sold. Excellent mod and incredible use of assets and ideas from other games while maintaining Halo 2's art style.

Just wanted to say thank you man! This was fantastic. It really felt like a true Halo mission.

From the ODST drop, driving section, to the fight through the Forerunner structure, and finally the assault on the Covenant carrier - it had it all!

I can't give enough praise - AI pathfinding was top notch, the music and dialogue was seamless.

I played this and your first mission back to back, and its insane how this one improved on the previous.

Great work and keep it up!

This is great, really enjoyed playing it. Felt like a classic Halo mission. I played on Heroic, wasn't challenging at all. I have to say, I was kind of soft locked towards the end. It wasn't very clear that I was 'destroying' the engine core, so I decided to head to the the end of the level before destroying the engine. I realised that I got to the start of the ship and of course, nothing was spawning. So I had to resort to a YT video showing that the engine takes like 15 Wraith Shots to explode. I shot it 5 times and wasn't clear if it was doing anything. I was able to backtrack throughout the entire ship back to the engine room again, and managed to complete the level normally.

This feels like a true Halo CE mission but in Halo 2, I really love this because they're both my favourite (Halo) games!

Alright so the mission is well done. Really well done actually. Got really heavy bungie vibes which I dig. The only issue is that some sections needed more enemies namely the gravity lift section and the ship itself. A final fight when trying to reach the pelican on foot. Played on heroic (not sure if it makes a difference) and felt it was too light on contact. If this was a personal choice rather than a pacing one then its wtv. Mission was great! Thanks for all the work modders like you do to keep the game going.

This is insane. I audibly said 'woah' more than once while playing. The design is unique and memorable, and theres not a-lot of wasted space. The AI puts up a challenging fight, theres plenty of tools to go around... its all there in one level.... the scenery is what I would call "Awe-striking" It's certainly a contender against bungie's proper missions for halo 2. I cannot overstate how impressive this is, I definitely think this mod has something for everyone; be it new content like weapons and equipment, beautiful scenery, or just a new place to fight covienant. Everything about this is an improvement over the first level, and it really cranks the scenery up to 11. Definitely worth playing and replaying.

The closest we'll ever get to playing the cut "Covenant Ship" level. Good level design, I never felt lost or confused, though the waypoints seem broken or inacurate. Could use some more enemies in some rooms as several areas feel a bit barren. All in all, great job.

So overall cool mission. Really good visuals. But rooms are too dark and empty. Shield meter at top makes it very difficult to keep track of shield charge. On killing reactor it is not clear what to do and if i am hitting correct thing so adding marker like on other objectives you did would be good. I had to go through entire ship again because of this.

This was amazing. I was skeptical after having played your first mission, but it was so much better and more enjoyable from just about every aspect. Definitely improved with this one. By far the best bit are the aesthetics. Love the rain, I didn't even know halo 2 supported rain!

Great level, loved the visuals! Especially enjoyed the use of water flowing throughout the forerunner architecture. My only complaint is maybe the level design focuses too much on large open areas and therefor long-range engagements.
Some more time spent in closer quarters areas would have spiced up gameplay, but also some areas could've maybe used more clutter/cover to encourage close quarters combat. Thank you for the mod.

This mod was absolutely fantastic. The feel of the level design is incredible. The cloudy skies, the thunder, the rain, absolutely wonderful. It feels like a perfect blending of both the original H1 forerunner structure design being grand and mysterious, and H2's brutalist forerunner architecture. The first section in the forerunner facility feels like a cozy return to peak halo level design, and feel. The section aboard the carrier is equally amazing. Enemy encounters were fun and well placed. Everything about this feel like it could have easily been from the original games, barring some minor feelings of being a bit too sparsely populated with props or enemies. Very much enjoyed this from start to finish!

Seriously awesome custom mission. Just played it with my BF and we both agree that the aesthetic and art design is top notch. I'd love to see more like this of this quality from you in the future.

From the ambiance, the sounds being used, like the AA guns being blown up, the weather, the sounds of rushing water and the water textures being reflected? All excellent. Love the addition of the Spiker, too! The Grunt Plasma Rifle was a cute touch, as well. Art design felt like a fusion of CE and Halo 2. I can't give enough praise to this mod.

My only pain point (and it's not even pain, it's just preference), was Steve Vai's shrill, wailing guitar lol. All topped off with the pelican extraction. Very cool. Very Halo.

All in all, it was astoundingly high quality. Good job!

i think I get to the destroy the reactor part. I take a wraith, kill some troops and another wraith, but I dont know how to trigger destroying the core. I end up walking through the entire ship again with no enemies

Hey just wanted to say that this and the first level you made have been awesome, its felt like a breath of fresh air to have something that feels like the original halo campaigns, rather than the god awful 343 stuff.

No idea what this Yoshi4448 guy is talking about, the level design feels great, the aesthetic is really cool, especially the alien ship sections, and the new weapons feel awesome. Love to see how you did the spiker btw, they always felt a little weak in halo 3, so making them just slightly stronger here felt absolutely perfect to me. all in all a great mod so far, my brother and I can't wait for level 3. I really hope this turns into a 7 or even 9 level campaign, that'd be sick!

I'm not sure if I played the same map as everyone else. The map design was very beautiful but as a level the pacing was horrible once you board the carrier. I played with a friend and the marker system was bugged sadly and we got lost even though we explored everything. The cut scenes and voice acting are cool tho.

This is without a doubt one of the best custom campaign missions that I have played. It genuinely felt like another mission that could have been part of the original game. Amazing vistas. I mean the whole level and scenery were built masterfully. There were many times that I would pass through somewhere and would gasp at how beautiful the ideas for level design were.
