Hmmm, this looks very promising, maybe I can just retire from trees: Better Trees

Is there any workaround for trees that are affected by this mod drawing on the tile below them because of the texture size? It makes trees growing in planters look like the trunk is on the path next to the planter.

Same issue as Lord

This is big, thanks for sharing!
Lord. 18 Jul @ 12:46am
i dunno if its just my problem, but everytime i load in a game, mod config forgors not to include stumps and resets layers back to default so i have to reconfig the mod every single time.

Thanks, I overlooked shadows and will take a look at it when I get a moment.

The shadow of the tree is too big. It looks weird because it is bigger than the tree. I don't speak English, so I wrote it using a translator.

knee for you
Danger Close 28 Jun @ 2:18pm
Perfect. It's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again.
Zaljerem  [author] 28 Jun @ 2:14pm
There's a mod option now to adjust the layer ... cumbersome at the moment but I hope to rig up a hotkey ...
Danger Close 28 Jun @ 2:10pm
One last question before I begin my new game- Is it possible to have the trees drawn in front of objects like rocks and pawns?
Danger Close 28 Jun @ 1:53pm
Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I didn't realize you had to manually set the tree sizes on the mod options. It's working now. Thanks anyway and great mod.
Danger Close 27 Jun @ 9:48pm
I hope this helps
Zaljerem  [author] 27 Jun @ 8:53pm
All info helps.
Danger Close 27 Jun @ 8:49pm
I'll send you my mod list if you think it would help.
Danger Close 27 Jun @ 8:37pm
Thanks for the reply. It's at the bottom of my list under VTE and ReGrowth but upon starting a new game, my trees are still default sized. I'm struggling to figure out what could be the cause. Some other mods I have are Perspective eaves, sense of depth, clean textures, and graphic setting+.
Zaljerem  [author] 27 Jun @ 8:13pm
Just tested it, worked ok for me when loaded after ReGrowth. Vanilla Textures Expanded shouldn't matter.
Danger Close 27 Jun @ 7:50pm
This doesn't seem to work for me. Does load order matter? I'm using ReGrowth along with Vanilla Textures Expanded.
Zaljerem  [author] 15 Jun @ 7:09pm
You can use standard retextures, like those linked, but you don't have to.
TeH_Dav 15 Jun @ 7:05pm
I think I asked this to you on discord but I can't remember the answer - do we still use those above retextures along with this mod?
Hamacelos 13 Jun @ 10:16am
we do indeed love big trees
Lord. 12 Jun @ 10:38pm
no problem :)
Zaljerem  [author] 12 Jun @ 10:08am
Thanks for the great suggestion! I just added a mod option to toggle the altitude layer between Pawn and Building (default). The update is live.
Zaljerem  [author] 12 Jun @ 7:36am
I'd forgotten about those, I just pulled down Perspective: Trees, it should be fairly easily to implement a toggle for altitude layer.
Lord. 12 Jun @ 6:24am
oh im pretty sure there's a bunch of mods with perspective fixes like "perspective: trees" by Owlchemist, "graphic chair overhaul 2" and "hide behind tall building" by Si-Cafe.

code from those mods might be useful, but i'm not sure. hope it helps.
Zaljerem  [author] 12 Jun @ 6:08am
I'll be looking into it more, I still want to implement transparency in some way as well.
Lord. 12 Jun @ 6:06am
very nice mod. the only problem is that some sprites (like rock chunks) render on top of trees. wonder if that can be fixed somehow..
Giorgio Dibitonto 11 Jun @ 2:14pm
Very nice, thank you!
CrackaJack 11 Jun @ 11:24am
oh cool!
Halicade 11 Jun @ 10:34am
First mod made for 1.6 on the workshop! We got big trees!
