Yeah, IIRC p0kiehl also ran into a similar problem, I hoped maybe someone came up with a fix since then, but not much can be done about the game engine itself... I agree though, even with that bug/feature both Koreas are quite strong.

Thank you! :p4g_love:

The great work slots problem is seemingly a bug which Firaxis decided to re-purpose as a "feature" when they made Sundiata's marketplace slots mechanic. I had wondered if the issue was a unique quirk of Sundiata or if reconstructing it would allow the mechanic to function normally. This report confirms that unfortunately it is a universal issue baked into the hard code and I'm uncertain if there's a way to fix it using regular tools.

Thankfully, I don't think it's terribly disruptive to Sejong's design, as he may be one of the strongest civs for playing tall in the game and the extra slots are most impactful early on when you might be short on space for writers.

Hey, extra great work slots don't work in cities conquered from another civs, even if they didn't have a campus at the moment of conquest. Besides that, absolutely great job taking over from p0kiehl, this feels just like civ expanded.

I've subscribed to all 4 of your civs modification mods (and Civs Expanded) and have found they have really made Civ VI more emersive and enjoyable. I've had no compatibility problems and find the game is much more dynamic and interesting. Please do some more "Legacy" civs.

All good!

I get that. Maybe it would be too strong. I hope I'm not bugging you too much with my feedback I'm just really happy that someone is doing those leaders and I really wanna support your effort.

Thank ya, glad you enjoy!

As for Seowons, they have their own unique bonuses built in by default for mines and farms and allowing them to gain +1 culture and +2 science from farms as well seems to nullify much of the built in design tradeoff for Seowon placements (in addition to making an already strong science civ even stronger). By the time the yield bonuses come online with printing, you should have several other districts unlocked to play with.

@Quazikolt allright, will try it out now. don't know if "excluding Seowons" feels right with me since this is usually the first district Korea is gonna build. otherwise I think you did a great job with this mod. especially the free Eurekas and Inspirations upon getting Great Writers/ Scientists feels more fun than I would have expected

Alright, I think I've got it at a reasonable balance now. Mod updated.

Hmhm, I found +1s to be a little underwhelming when I tried that. Maybe +2 is the happy middle. I'll run experiments.

Maybe a +3 culture for each farm +3 adjacency yields for every district is a bit too strong though.

Today I was able to create a farm that gave me +15 culture and +3 each in science, faith and gold.

Still not as crazy as most Civs with the civs expanded mod

Hello. If anyone considering this mod is unhappy with its balance for some reason, then you should know I was responsible for reigning him in a bit and it was absolutely absurd before.

So it would be my fault for not catching something. Hang me in the gallows. :)
