please don't use AI, it's a slippery slope
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 21 Aug @ 4:51am
If you don't know how to create basic mods - search it up online, you'll need to learn a lot, then. I thought you knew how to edit tables and do basic modding. Without that knowledge, i'm afraid, that's impossible.
DevilDog 21 Aug @ 4:38am
just go into the mod folders or is there an in game setting
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 21 Aug @ 4:34am
Oh, i see! Then yes, ofc you can. If you're trying to edit tables from this mod - then it shouldn't be hard, have a look at difficulty tables - you'll figure, not that hard.
DevilDog 21 Aug @ 4:10am
well i was asking if i can edit it for myself
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 21 Aug @ 3:34am
Yes, there is a way, but i'm not too sure if i want to limit AI's agent cap, since that would significantly buff player, and that wasn't my goal. I already made AI spend more on its armies, than spies, i think that's enough, though i'm open for suggestions.
DevilDog 21 Aug @ 2:27am
any way to limit AI to not spam agents
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 10 Aug @ 12:32am
Good luck with that, glad that could help! Enjoy the mods :spiffo:

Idk its working completely fine at the moment. and that isn't even that many mods. I play warhammer 3 with like 75 mods and it works fine, since they're all made for compatibility.
I assume the issue is something to do with the weird chinese ones i'm testing out. anyways that is good troubleshooting advice. I will probably try verifying the game files too. since that could be part of it.

@jamie_van -- part 2
Just now searched though all the mods that you have and none of them have conflicting name with any of my modfiles. The only thing that i can suggest for you now, is - clear the scripts folder, and re-enable all the mods;
Press Win+R and copy/paste this: %AppData%\The Creative Assembly\Rome2\scripts - delete all files there, launch the game and if there are any more mistakes, i'd suggest getting your mods in order, at least so no mod would make all characters look faded as if they're dead.

@jamie_van -- part 1
so i've downloaded monstrous pack of mods, and well, gotta tell you, it's definitely not this mod what breaks your game
I have played the campaign with my mod on, and yeah, there were disappearing/missing heads from char portraits, but guess what - it also does the absolutely same thing without my mod! The easy conclusion from this - it is not my mod(IU) which does it!
By the way, i have no idea if you've noticed or have it, but the char portraits are all black, like if the characters are already dead. How do you even play that?
jamie_van 8 Aug @ 9:11pm
Here's the list that did it. problem went away as soon as I turned your mod off. Like I said probably a conflict with something else.

Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 7 Aug @ 11:56pm
Yo, @jamie_van
Quite impossible, to be honest with you, since this mod does not affect characters in any way (character caps - yes, characters themselves - no). You can even check out mod's insides, if you have the tools for it.

Though i am still curious and I'm up for testing it out - add me and drop mod names or links, please, would be happy to help and find out what could be causing such things.
jamie_van 7 Aug @ 10:12pm
caused my character's models to not load in properly as the iceni. Had nobles with gray faces and one model was just a floating beard with no visible head at all LOL. possibly a mod conflict, since I was using the a civil wars mod. but wanted to let you know its a possible issue, especially since I know it was this mod, cause it stopped as soon as I turned it off.
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 5 Aug @ 9:14am
This mod works for all factions, in all campaigns, and affects both human and AI players.
You can even see this in the screenshots on this page.
LePaow De Cubbes 5 Aug @ 9:08am
is this for Rome only, or for all other parties too? Do the enemies actually have limitations too?
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 5 Aug @ 6:02am
@IrishBandito came up with a workaround and it worked in the end :)
Tested with DEI and it works (IU load was prioritized)!
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 4 Aug @ 2:08am
@Valmont: Yeah, it wouldn't be hard to make such a mod, but I doubt it would have any success. I think players prefer the almost unlimited version over the x2.

@IrishBandito: Downloaded DEI, tested their mod, and yeah, they have the same structure, but it seems their "fame_level" tables are somehow forced to load via some script file that I can't identify, so I can't figure out how to make my mod compatible with it :(
Valmont 2 Aug @ 3:51pm
Can you do another mod with a 2X army, navy, edict, and agent caps instead of unlimited?
I find that the vanilla values are too restrictive but unlimited is kinda too much for the engine
I think a middle ground will also be very successful :steamthumbsup:
IrishBandito 30 Jul @ 12:18am
for example main_3c in fame table doesn't exist in dei, and prologue entry's don't exist in your fame table
IrishBandito 30 Jul @ 12:17am
if people are having issues with dei i imagine maybe it's due to the base tables themselves as the dei entry's are slightly different, you might need to take the DEI fame levels table and the cai personalities table and add your numerical entries there to get it properly dei compatible. i can probably do this if you dont, looked into your mod it's fairly easy
Dejure 9 Jul @ 12:59pm
Doesn't currently work with DEI
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 7 Jul @ 2:38pm
All good, and it's totally valid question.
I'm not really familiar with DEI, but i think you'll get it to work if you'll prioritize this mod's above all (or just above DEI).
Angry Pikachu 7 Jul @ 11:02am
Maybe a dumb question and apologies if this has been asked before but is this mod DEI compatible?
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 17 Jun @ 9:31am
I believe issue was resolved - enjoy the mod! :spiffo:
Archer 17 Jun @ 6:53am
Is there a way to get this to work for Mac? I subscribed but when I look in the summary tab in game I don't see the new limits.
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 1 Jun @ 12:42pm
Suit yourself, uplifted cap on agents to max possible (which is 10), enjoy!
@https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561198052279724 - and yes, feel free to DM me if u want to ask some questions.
iuser2011 1 Jun @ 9:36am
@Kuznetsov [XIII] :
I want to add, more agents is not just good idea, it's really needed for some factions for early game. For example, when I play for some 1-settlement Imperium I barbarian scum, I *desperately* needs at least 2 dignitaries. One for decrease army upkeep, one for develop with Tutor skill as soon as possible.
iuser2011 1 Jun @ 9:25am
@Kuznetsov [XIII] :
More agents is not a bad idea, it's actually the only right idea. I would like to use this mod, because more armies is 100% right idea also, but I need more agents just as much. So for now I continue to use Nordo's improved edicts mod for more armies+edicts+agents. ;)

No need to worry about "55 enemy agents" doing nasty things to us. It just means we need diplomacy or unleash our own agents to kill the enemy's. And develop generals also.

P.S. Можно тебе задать вопрос-другой по редактированию игры?
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 1 Jun @ 8:33am
@https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561198238057946 - yes, is does work with all DLC's

@https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561198136462990 - it is possible, but it's a really bad idea, imagine 55 enemy agents taking actions against your generals/settlements etc. And AI loves to do that. So probably no, not gonna do that, - though maybe if i'll find a way to separate amount of agents for ai/player separately - then sure.
pfctan2000 31 May @ 10:32pm
Does it also work with all the DLC
red ribs love 31 May @ 12:38pm
Can you do one where you can unlimited Champions? That would be amazing.
theDrakeKinzel 31 May @ 8:55am
Incredible. Thanks for sharing.
Kuznetsov [XIII]  [author] 27 May @ 9:02am
I believe so, yeah, - in the game files there's no separation between Player and AI in the fame level tables.
And that's for the best. Don't worry, the AI won't be able to recruit all 9999 million armies at once - he won't have enough money for that :steamhappy:.
The Field Marshal 26 May @ 9:15pm
Does this ONLY work for the player or does the AI get this ability too?
SussyEvie 25 May @ 7:42am
nice mod
