There is a bandit camp in the woods just off the road between Troskowitz and Semine. In the chest there i have always found the ring
Miserable May 28 Sep @ 12:47pm
I'm sure its somewhere obvious but I can't find the ring anywhere
Geek 24 Sep @ 7:40am
Hey guys! Does anyone know where I can find this item in game?
Assassin 20 Sep @ 9:51pm
Please add this video to the description of the mod... I will love you forever as it fits perfectly with your mod...
Thank you

@Kaglimzo - excellent! Works! See you over there.
Art Blade 10 Jun @ 4:15pm
Alright! Thanks, man! I'll quickly test it. :)

@Art Blade
Good news, they do! Should have the mod up within the next half-hour
Kaglimzo  [author] 10 Jun @ 3:34pm
@Art Blade
Sounds good, I don't think they go into negatives but I'll give it a go now
Art Blade 10 Jun @ 1:59pm
@Kaglimzo, I think that you could actually combine those stats with your existing ring. ;)
Art Blade 10 Jun @ 12:57pm
@Kaglimzo hello again :) I've just got an idea you might be able to pull off: another ring or necklace that favours stealth. like, zero noise, visibility and conspicuousness. if negative values work, go for it - would be the equivalent to your ring's 1k on the positive side. What do you think?
Art Blade 7 Jun @ 5:04am
our posts must have been released the same instant! Nah, not desperate enough to install discord. ;))
Art Blade 7 Jun @ 5:03am
Oh, by the way, I don't *expect* you to tackle that idea. I doubt that you can pull it off with the tools at your disposal. I just felt like mentioning that mod idea because you asked. I'm currently running the game with 40 (lol) mods that essentially cover all my needs. Anyway, thanks again for your kindness. Have a good one and see you next time :)
Kaglimzo  [author] 7 Jun @ 5:01am
@Art Blade
Good to hear it works! I'm afraid that mod idea is way past anything I can do. You could try joining the KCD2 Modding discord and posting it there, might get noticed easier.
Art Blade 7 Jun @ 4:37am
Hehe, thanks :) Also, I just installed that mod with the modified mod manifest lol - It works. you can see Good Old Pebbles keeps her max stats no matter which tack you use, as long as you don't swap out the "saddle horseshoe" :))
As to good ideas... I can guarantee you a lot of thankful players IF you can pull it off: "KCD2 hardcore map: show player's position" was a request I posted on the nexus forum under "mod ideas" as is appropriate. Nobody has replied. Meanwhile I finished hardcore despite the map issues. See, if you play that mode (for achievements' sake) you won't know where you are by looking at the map. Putting the player's position "back in" would have saved me many hours. There are other players who uttered the same wish inside other mod's comments section and... no reply, either. So if you want to be the good Samaritan, that could be your next project ;)
Kaglimzo  [author] 7 Jun @ 4:25am
@Art Blade
You too, let me know if you have any other good ideas and I'll look into them :)
Art Blade 7 Jun @ 4:12am
Thank you, I'll give it a shot. Pity that the tools you use won't allow you to tweak these things. Anyway, I wish you a relaxing weekend :)
Kaglimzo  [author] 7 Jun @ 4:04am
@Art Blade
I've had a look and the tool I'm using to make the mods doesn't allow me to change the values. There is however a mod on the nexus that already does that but you will have to change something in its mod manifest to get it to work, if the comments are to believed.

4Savage says:
No need for update just update your mod manifest
to
<supports> <kcd_version>1.*</kcd_version> </supports>

Hey @Kaglimzo, thanks! I can provide you with the "Farm Horseshoe" which is

I hope it helps :)
Art Blade 6 Jun @ 8:57am
hello again, Kaglimzo :) While I (almost) can't do without your ring, I've been wondering whether or not the same principle could work for horses, too. Something you don't see would be a horse shoe. A "cheap" one (Farmer's) for instance. Add 1k stamina and speed and courage to it and all the remaining tack (which is what I'm "targeting") could be used without having to worry about the at times silly debuffs of otherwise good-looking horse tack. Fancy giving it a shot? ;)
Kaglimzo  [author] 30 May @ 3:40am
@MEEPINGMOFO
Not sure why, just retested it and it works fine for me, it's unlikely but make sure you don't have any other mods that edit the ring
MEEPINGMOFO 30 May @ 2:48am
Used console but only gave me the basic ring :/
Kaglimzo  [author] 29 May @ 12:43pm
@ThirtyK
I'm not sure what the problem might be then, you could maybe try verifying your game files if you haven't already.
ThirtyK 29 May @ 6:18am
@Kaglimzo
I did add -DEVMODE to the launch options, but the game has been unresponsive since the first month I launched it, so I've given up on using the ~ key to launch console commands.
Kaglimzo  [author] 29 May @ 4:32am
@ThirtyK That's odd, you've definitely put -Devmode in the launch arguments yeah? Also make sure that you don't include the quotation marks in the console command. Other than that the ring should just be lootable at random throughout the world.
ThirtyK 29 May @ 2:11am
Where can I find this thing?
My ~ can't use the console code.
Kaglimzo  [author] 27 May @ 12:58pm
@Avalokhor Changing the name of items is beyond my capabilities sadly, there is however a mod on nexusmods that adds the one ring to the game, with a model and glowing inscription: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/1571
Avalokhor 27 May @ 12:05pm
Really missed to give the ring a name from LOTR? hahaha
Kaglimzo  [author] 24 May @ 4:34pm
Thanks! I'm glad you're finding it useful, I hate having to use worse looking/ non-matching stuff just for the charisma increase too
Art Blade 24 May @ 9:42am
Here's your award. Enjoy :)
Art Blade 24 May @ 9:32am
I want to add that the real benefit of this ring is that finally we can dress up any way we want without constantly having to worry about losing charisma. Same goes for anything else that would otherwise cause the charisma to drop below 30. Or anything like 30 flowers or Mutt to increase charisma. This is bloody excellent. :)
Art Blade 23 May @ 7:09pm
Thank you :) I love your enthusiasm. Not 50+, Nope, one Kay. That deffo rolls over the top :) If we cheat, we cheat PROPERLY :D Thanks again.
