On my end, it's a problem with using a huge map – I don't know about others.

I edited a few parameters, increased the resource percentage and the minimum number of blocks.

I loaded the map with the same seed about 50 times to observe the differences and generated a setting to suit my preferences.

I'm only having a problem with the river. I changed the settings and added a large, wide river.

At level 16, there's an empty riverbed. At level 15, it flows normally. It looks strange, but it works.

I tried increasing the maximum map level too, but I couldn't.

BTW - Thanks for you work NtM

Everything works fine on my end. Huge map size will definitely throw off resource generation and there isn't anything I can do about it without messing it up for smaller maps. As for resource amount, there should be more clay and limestone compared to Hillside and about as much iron, salt and silver. Gold and coal are not generated.

Perhaps there is some common resource problem after a recent game update or perhaps its some other mod? I start think about that after i read Von Este comment - because i myself try mine on this one, and on other map "the wall" too - after few hours i get 28 limestone, some iron and 0 from any other mine resources. Not enaguht even to build a klin. I use a huge map mod, perhaps that make everythin on map mostly a dirt?

Love the map type! Although even running twenty and more rerolls, i always end up not finding any good amount of minerals, there are deposits yes but very small and very limited compared to a normal hillside map

Basically a mountain map with a center elevated position and a water feature somewhere. Or in other words, This hilltop map with mountain resources.

@SoCalExile What would you like to see in a mountain version? I could make the terrain more extreme, but not by much.

Would it be possible to get a mountaintop mod? Thanks

this mod is literally one of the best things that has come out for this game in quite awhile... and thats no shade to the developer, because they are fantastic.
