It is not, the alternative stock is seen on Skin 2 weapons, which have to be pre-set on the map.

Of course I have ever considered a lot of things. Unfortunately there's either difficulties or just not enough time to make them. And also I'm lazy.
vict00d 5 May @ 12:32pm
well it is what it is, atleast some people port some of the bo1 weapons here like Alex_D did, by the way alex have you ever considered making a m16a1 mod before besides, the one with a m203 grenade launcher that you've already made, like one with dual mag or a flamethrower etc.
Alex_D #NoWar  [author] 5 May @ 11:56am
Oh crap, that sounds messy. That explains a lot.

@vict00d: I can answer why nobody did the BC2 weapons: They used a very unconventional texture mapping system where the bump maps and shader maps etc are completely different from what the weapon is mapped to on the diffuse map. I think the coloring was also done by engine shaders too. A few people looked into porting them back when the game was new, but it was way too much trouble for what it was worth.

For some reason the weapons in the BC2: Vietnam expansion weren't done like that, which is why Moon was able to port them over.

I absolutely cannot do animations. The model would be fairly interesting to port.
Do you take recommendations, or better yet, commissions?

I ask this bcz no one ever made a port of the CoD ghosts SA-805 (with only the flashlight and no other attachments) replacing the m16 with the original (empty and wet) reload animations, so if you could do this, it would be pretty cool

If you charge something in exchange, how can I pay you? TF2 crate keys or other method?

Have a nice night

understandable have a nice day or night whatever.

Porting models from GMod to other Source engine games is piss easy, for a Source engine modder anyway. How it got to GMod in the first place seems to be a whole other can of worms.

So in case you misunderstood me, I was sarcastic about Ninjaripper being easy. It's a program that basically takes a 3D screenshot and depending on the engine/driver/many other factors it can be either relatively easy or a hair-pulling nightmare to manage the results.

really damn now i wish i had you talent Alex_D, if was a modder as talent as you i would port them not all of them of course just like 2 or three but well sorry to disturb you my friend.
Alex_D #NoWar  [author] 3 May @ 7:23am
In at least one mod description Moon mentions Ninjaripper. Which means it's as easy to port these models as it would be to remake them by yourself while blindfolded.

People port Battlefield gun models and props to gmod, very rarely SWEPs. It's ridiculously hard to port.
vict00d 3 May @ 2:57am
but i dont know if like its possible to port weapons from gmod to l4d2
vict00d 3 May @ 2:57am
a guy port them to gmod
Alex_D #NoWar  [author] 3 May @ 2:43am
There's probably a reason nobody has ever done it.
vict00d 3 May @ 1:58am
have you ever thought of porting the weapons from battlefield bad company 2? nobody has ever done it, i would love to see them here specially the weapons from the vietnam dlc.
Alex_D #NoWar  [author] 3 May @ 12:38am
Beautiful. For the previews, I picked the early game characters (besides Jacket) to fit with the early DLC vibes of the Uzi mod, but I'm gonna have to check those newer characters out as well.
