Damn, This has to be the best criticism I've gotten on my custom level so far, and I absolutely appreciate your honest opinion on it. Though it'll probably be a little bit before it happens, I will absolutely work on Extreme mode to make it more fun!

One thing that does genuinely concern me though is that your attacks to stop working after an extended period of time. That is 100% a bug that I thought had gone away overtime, but apparently still exists. It's plagued the level since the very beginning and one that is completely outside my control. Did you at any point throw melee weapons at enemies and/or execute them with broken weapons? Those two actions are known for contributing to triggering the glitch. If you could describe your experience and encounter with the glitch in the discussions, that would be very helpful to figuring out what exactly is triggering it. Regardless, I do apologize that this ended up contributing to the problems you ended up facing in the custom level.

It’s not fun at all. I’ll never be playing Extreme Mode again — I’m going back to Slaughter Mode. It’s harder in a way, but still easier somehow. So yeah, I hope you don’t mind my honest opinion.
took me around four hours to get to level 11, and then I just stopped because I couldn’t hit enemies with melee weapons anymore. I don’t even understand why that happens — maybe it’s a bug, or maybe it’s meant to be like that. Either way, it made everything ten times harder. I tried to keep going, but it was useless. Without being able to use melee attacks, you just get surrounded and crushed in seconds. And honestly, after all that effort, I didn’t even feel angry — just tired. Extreme Mode feels more like torture than a challenge after a while. I love difficult games, but this one crosses the line between “fun hard” and “impossible.” Still, I’ve got to admit, it was kind of satisfying getting that far.

Stage 8 with Gestalt was fun, but also kind of impossible no weapons again, and with all those clowns and other enemies it gets crazy. Stage 9, I hated it, but in a way it was still good at least it wasn’t the same enemies over and over again like in other levels, where you get five clowns or five Hanks or three Doctor Crickets on level 1. The ghosts killed me, literally destroyed me I died at least thirty times on floor 9. And now floor 10, it was perfect —hard, but still doable with guns. The kamikaze enemies caught me off guard, but it was fun, and the other creatures you made on that floor were great. I won’t be playing Extreme Mode ever again, since it’s just too impossible. The only way I even got to floor 10 was because I had a gun with infinite reload. I don’t even know how I got that gun, maybe from the arena shop. It got boring too, using the same gun over and over, but if I’d used other guns, I wouldn’t have even made it maybe only to floor 5.

On the 11th floor on Extreme Mode, the Nexus floor, you can’t attack enemies with sword weapons, only with guns. The floor with the Phobos statue, and I gotta say, it’s harder but more fun. Slaughter Mode with 200 enemies is crazy, but Extreme one is ultra hard, almost impossible. Even one floor is doable, the second one too but a pain in the ass, the third one is okay, the fourth one sucks, the fifth too, the sixth one is impossible to beat without dying at least ten times. The seventh one is also impossible — how the hell am I supposed to fight fifty giants with one sword? Ten of them are at least big giants, the others are half-sized, and since they are, I think, your enemies that you made, they are ultra hard to kill. I have to dodge perfectly, because if one of them gets me, I’m gonna get grabbed again and again and again.

now idk if i should say it but it feels like on normal mode enemies hardly come at you at some levels and i need to chase them its kinda annoying some time

did you at any point enter one of the playground rooms within the custom level? The squadmate system inside the playground room ended up causing a game breaking bug similar to how you describe it. That bug should now be fixed.

Love the new floors! Very cool and fun! I also like the idea of every 25 floors being boss floors. Though after floor 25 all subsequent floors broke, in which I could only do damage to one type of enemy per floor. Also the floor would open the exit door after just one enemy is killed. Otherwise great update! :steamthumbsup::mpn_agent:

there was a problem from me idk on which floor but i got grabed by the vampire on map with toxic waste and i couldnt escape from him i was on middle floor by the door so

okey so, so far im loving this chellange however on the floor with the 3 brideges and acid below, when i died and fell down i got revived on the acid and i had no way of getting back up, just wanna ask how common that is (i also was as mag hank from the "hank and the wimbeltons" mod who is golem sized so it might be just my fault lmao

here to ask if you have found a way to get the whole hireling bug out of the way. Considering, there no way to get rid of it. Not disabling the mod, all mods, nothing to my knowledge except going back to the non-beta.

Cheesetoaster, that's a strange one. I'll look into it and see if I can replicate it.

G8, if it's that one secret floor where you're fighting on the side of the tower, then yeah it's intentional.

Mystery man, yeah I'm aware of that issue and as far as I'm aware, I don't think there's much that I can do about it, it's just something that happens with playground levels in general. All I can really do is find workarounds.

Dunno if its intentional or not but I've been stuck on a certain floor for so long I can't even remember its number the ennemies amount of ennemies just keeps going back to over 100 or over 300 whenever I get close to killing them all

Im not sure if you will see this, but Id like to report another bug and maybe ask for help fixing it
so, when I played tower of madness and then left to go to arena mode, all characters wielding guns just dont work. I think this has to do with those, TOM guys (as they do the exact same thing) if you could find ways to fix it Id appreciate it.
