You have no idea how much I appreciate that. Class act, man, and what a brilliant mod. Truly the most useful one out there. Vanilla wood color reminds me of diarrhea. Thanks again.

@Eightball - Sorry for the delay the mod has been updated and the green should now be gone from the interiors of wood walls!

I do have a dev looking into the green interiors, it seems whatever the LOD update did cause the inside texture to not load if you give the wood items a second swatch. Waiting to see if the dev has any solutions to this otherwise I may just have to swap the walls back to individual pieces until a different solution is found.

Hey. Awesome mod. However, the inside of the wooden walls (and the bottom) appear green. Missing texture?

Merlons have been added! All items have been condensed into one placeable object with color swatches for color changing without placing new items. Due to some coding limitations walls are still a single separate object while merlons and floors can be found under the game default wood merlon and floor respectively.

Sadly doors, windows, and arches still can't be colored so this is all the wood objects at this time.

I have learned some new tricks and plan on doing an update to my wood and clay mods in the near future that combined with the dev updates will make the mod safe to uninstall even with the objects still in place, along with uncluttering the build window a bit.

Not going to pin myself to a deadline right now because I'm really really bad at following them :steamfacepalm: but I want to aim for an update before September.

@Spotter, if you want it to have a different texture than anything in game, you need to use blender (or an equivalent program) to create it. The coding isn't the issue anymore, but I don't have the skills and knowledge to create brand new meshes, textures, etc.

I'm sure in the future some of our lovely modding community will take on the project as it's been a popular idea/suggestion for awhile.

Or even WATTLE/DAUB Walls made of Sticks/Clay and/or Mud?

@Kozmo1066 - Clay brick walls unfortunately have some oddity to them. The shader on them functions more like a gradient, and the red/brown tone heavily influences any tints to the wall. However limestone brick is much more flexible! Example using #74ff39 hex color code [i.imgur.com] Needless to say there is already WIP on limestone variants for the future!

@Lyosha - Yes I understand the difficulty level, that you just described. But I wonder if you could still do it for 3 to 5 of Wood Types? Of course that would also need a Name Mod on the Wood Piles too, so players could select what it is they want. And that'd be a bit of a challenge as well for you updating the mod.

Having helped the original Star Trek Online development of Ship Interiors, I fully understand the difficulty that mine, and other players wishes are. :steamfacepalm::steamsad:

@Spotter, while that is true the double click will select all growth stages of that type which is a significant drawback when trying to mark trees for construction. Additionally there are 5 types of trees in game, this means you would have at best only 20% of the available trees as the correct type limiting resources for players.

It would also open up difficulties with every other in game object and how the tree specific wood interacts with everything else in game - do you use it to construct other furniture? Is it usable for production of weapons or as fuel? If there is 6 unique wood types how many stockpiles will people end up with? I hope you can understand how this would be a bit too much for what this mod offers.

@Lyosha - If we Double-Click one Tree, it highlights all of that Type/Breed and lets us select CUT for all lit up on screen view. By doing that, we can select particular wood to use too. 👍👍 5k✨ 🤠

I did consider woods by tree types, but I feel it would be extremely restrictive in terms of accessibility to building materials especially for larger projects, but also in terms of future mods. If it is something more people are interested in I may explore it again in the future.

This is an Awesome Mod, me Laird! It would be JAWESOME if we could select the wood by Tree Type, and/or when Copying Existing structred Wall/Floor, it uses that same wood. 👍👍 5k💖&✨ to your Mod.🤴

当堆叠时,顶部和末端件以及中心分隔物具有默认的木材颜色。
没有配套的窗户或门

对于这两个问题,我需要学习如何使用搅拌机或等效的程序来制作一个新的对象,因为对这些项目/区域的编辑没有被json文件中的着色器信息所覆盖。遗憾的是,这超出了我的能力范围。

The added code values that this patch included are what finally let us add things like this so lots of love to the dev team as well for adding the extra mod support :steamhappy: You should start seeing more things like this (from me) and some of the other modders I'm sure in the near future
