@Breves, pelase list mod list, it seems there is a bug at certain point, even though I haven't found it, where new player has no allomantic abilities. Misting abilities are gained via the Spike system. Beads are crafted. With Hardmode Items. 1 Life Crystal, 5 Fallen Stars, 5 Gold Bars, 5 Souls of Light, 5 Souls of Night at Demon Altar

Lerasium Bead drops from:

Eye of Cthulhu: 5% chance (1 in 20)
King Slime: 5% chance (1 in 20)
Wall of Flesh: 10% chance (1 in 10)
Mechanical Bosses (Skeletron Prime, The Destroyer, Retinazer, Spazmatism): 15% chance (~1 in 7)
Plantera: 20% chance (1 in 5)
Moon Lord: 100% chance (guaranteed drop)

Atium Bead shares the same drop table with identical rates from all these bosses.

also by the way the mod is described here i should be able to get something pre-hardmode to become a misting, and then progress into full misborn, but so far no luck figuring it out...

Hello, i would like some info on how to get beads, i started my game and cracted the item to test for allomantic abillities, and i have none, so i need a bead, your text here says "• Lerasium Beads from boss encounters" but which boss?

It is an insanely fun mod to use. All the options available to full mistborn freak me out a little, but I'm striving B-)

I found a bug. If you are an Iron Misting (and presumably Full Mistborn) you can pull on the Portals themselves in the Old Ones Army event. This makes them fly past you and then just keep going. I could recreate it, sometimes needing to Flare the metal. I noticed the (at least first wave) goblins were also pullable, which is really cool, but launcing the portals into infinity is probably unintended :)

i really like the new hamlurgy and i want to ask if you planning to add feruchemy to the mod? likeadding a plus slots for the bracelets which you can store/use/deactivate for the feruchemy abilities. I think it would be fun mainly with speed and health.

Hello everyone!

I'm back from holiday and am proud to say that a update is underway :) The long awaited toggle to turn off the mist included! I'm working on a way for new players to the mod to learn about how the mod works in an immersive way!

Anyway, keep yer eyes open for the new update!

Is there a way to disable the custom night time biome? NGL It's already getting monotonous and I've only had the mistborn power for like an hour...its too intense and I want my pretty nights back :steamsad:

This breaks the Astral biome from calamity, as to spawn something at the beacon in the astral biome, you need to be IN the astral biome. As astrum deus requires you to be in the astral biome at night to summon him, you cant anymore, cuz everything turns to graveyard (or some custom biome cuz there aint any ghosts) so i cant spawn astrum deus at night bcuz of this mod pls fix.

when will the other metallic arts come out, I havent played it yet, but as far as I can tell, youre missing 7 misting abilities, and all feruchemical and hemalurgic abilities and powers

There is no current way to choose what powers you have to start with. You need to craft lerasium to become a Mistborn, I believe the recipe calls for souls of light and dark, as well as heart crystals.

Hi, this is sort of a dream come freakin' true, so I'm so absolutely ready to dive headfirst, there's just so little information on how everything actually works, that I'm having some trouble. For instance, is there any way to choose what kind of Misting I am on character creation, or is it random every time? And most importantly, how on earth do you become Mistborn? Can you? Thanks in advance, this is seriously amazing work, a match made in heaven!

Something about the odds you suggest for starting out WITH allomantic abilities is off, @PC_ive, because none of the characters I created with the mod active got anything other than the "The tester shows no Allomantic ability. Find a Lerasium Bead to gain powers." message from the tester.

Some questions I have:
What are the actual odds of a character starting out with any Allomantic Abilities whatsoever?
What blocks (other than ores, obviously) count as metals for the purpose of Pushing and Pulling?
(The answer might be helpful if anyone tries building puzzles and such meant to be solved with this mod)
Why use Chromium for emptying ones own Metal Reserves (with the testing item), when Aluminum is what does that canonically?
Are Compounding and Savantism going to be implemented, and if so, how?
I'll probably have more questions in the future, too.

I feel for balance it would be a good idea to make a spike take an accessory slot as you wanna make it have to be a choice. I like the idea of intelligent decisions such as “Do I wanna be able to use pewter or do I wanna have a dash?”

I kinda like the idea of not stacking it with a custom slot. If you want to get 5 accessory slots filled with spikes then you're powered up already, I'll add that

I’ve seen a lot of mods that add specialized accessory slots so I bet you could make a feruchemical band slot so it doesn’t take up a real accessory slot

What if there was spikes you could make that take up an accessory slot and after a certain number of kills you get the allomantic power associated with the metal it’s made from only if you had it in an accessory slot? Perhaps adding like a requirement for bones or shadow scales to make it progression locked.

I’ve found only one bug, and it may be another mod, but when I spawn into a world with a new character that isn’t the first character I used for that world, they spawn in at the top left corner of the map. It only happens when I first spawn in with that character. If I spawn in again it spawns me at world spawn.

No problem, I get overly concerned about everything. Anyway, Under the assumption that your talking to me, I’d like some clarification. Are you talking about the recent tmod loader update when you say fixes? Do you want me to hunt for bugs in the game? What do your mean by compile? Do you want like a google doc list or something?

Thanks for the concern, tbh, I think I atleast need the check-in. Otherwise I'll end up not doing much... My collaborator is very good with textures and in charge of that and icons, while I do the mechanicals. Can you compile a list of bugs and fixes on that side so I can get going on that in the mean time:)

i think it would be cool if the mists were more hard to see through withput tin, like making it a slightly see through white overlay with a circle around the player, with a function to make it turn off when you burn tin
