it's occuring to me now that i have literally never seen a crimson ordeal above noon in the real game. i checked the wiki, they do exist, i just... have weird luck i guess? i've gotten 100% twice and im working on a third, how am i so weirdly (un)lucky???

Really glad to hear you're enjoying it, would you mind sharing a few of the ego gifts or abnos / entities you've had issue with either here or in our Discord so we can make a fix and look into it further? Everything should have an EGO set (so long as it's not a tool) no matter where it is sourced from, and the HP values of the majority of entities are hidden from players and revealed only to the GM as a purposeful decision on our part.

GM TIPs
If your a gm I recommend having notes for each phase as a step and update when an action requires it to happen at a phase this makes life so much easier. As this game gets complicated for the gm when entities interact with each other.

If your playing this game without 4 players (not gm included) I do recommend either giving players a public deparment (deparment without anyplayers on that layer ex. control, info, training is taken no player for satfy so it goes to public.) where all players can do anoms there or at the very least hand out the mission for said deparment so they can still do the deparment's meltdown for rewards.

To check if an anom as an ego check the wiki for said anomily if its limbus or a tool there is not one.
wonkyBacon 6 Oct @ 3:31am
The game is great made it up to cycle 24 so far gming for 3 other people and you can guess its gotten choaticly fun. There are some issues with the game such as gift egos not showing any perks and what roll, some none tool anoms just missing egos (bec they in limbus company), as well as the noon some enteties not existing such as the pefect food and fixers not having hp.

However despite the rough patches very rarely you will see (if your a gm for players you will not see this at all) its a very enjoyable experince spending 17 hours so far with my current playthrough and around 25 hours total on it as a gm setting things up. This is just in the past 3 days.

kinda peak ngl
Dazer 28 Aug @ 4:54pm
I absolutely did. I'm very sorry for that rookie mistake.
I'd give you 300 lunashii as a reparation if I could.
Laskey2552  [author] 28 Aug @ 4:42pm
@Dazer. Penitence does do White damage in the tabletop. You may be confusing it for the rulebook display which is simply for example purposes only.
Dazer 28 Aug @ 4:17pm
Penitence should do white damage. Right now it's just a riot stick you have to buy, lel.
Laskey2552  [author] 24 Aug @ 6:01pm
@jlaynor,

1.Well that rule is there to say players cannot trade EGO in main rooms that are in devastated layers. Like if an employee has an EGO equipped and wants to unequip and trade it.

2.It can be deployed at the start of a cycle and the units will deploy at the same time.
jlaynor 24 Aug @ 4:34pm
@Laskey2552
Hi, just thought that I need to clarify some things, although we've been playing for a while now.

1. What does the ''Swapping Ego within the layer is unallowed" line mean in the Devastation description in the rulebook? Does it mean that players cannot equip/unequip EGO? If so, do I understand right that it is straight up impossible to equip Engineering Suit when players have only one layer?

2. When exactly can players deploy R Corp? Do they declare about it and units appear at the start of the cycle, or something different? I couldn't find it in a rulebook, so I did like I said on my sessions, but maybe I'm just blind and it works different.

And also, thank you very much for the amazing updates and stuff! The game keeps getting better and better!
Habanero 22 Aug @ 6:56am
Impressive. You should update the "Number of Players" though. The rulebook says 2-4, the mod page says 5, and your description says 4.

Aaaah. It works SOOO well. We worked the whole game and invented obvious damage of work and dealt it)))) We literally dealt damage after work and went away to heal. All anomalies dealt some damage. And anomalies that required full health were problematic. Our formula was like this. We knocked out a value of, say, 6 on TETH. So, he dealt us damage by 4 cells. We went to look at the armor resistance. And then we dealt damage to ourselves on the employee. And damn, it was very interesting. And we will never accept the "real" conditions.

(Use a translator)
Laskey2552  [author] 22 Jul @ 8:34am
If you are referring to taking damage via work rolls, there is no damage for working with abnormalities. If their ever is, the managerial notes will tell you.
Slipi61 22 Jul @ 4:05am
You may have misunderstood. I'm talking about the type of damage during operation. How can I find out? For example, for anomalies that don't run away.
Laskey2552  [author] 21 Jul @ 7:19pm
@Slipi61, this is stated on an entities "Dossier" card, each entity has one that shows all damage, abilities, behaviors, and durability. I highly suggest looking around the table to see if you are missing anything that has already been provided.
Slipi61 21 Jul @ 10:08am
Will you write the damage types of anomalies somewhere? Or will we have to guess/go to the wiki?
Curupacu 20 Jul @ 7:41am
.
Rush parash 20 Jul @ 5:07am
Aaah. Thanks, it all makes sense now.
Ender  [author] 19 Jul @ 7:45pm
@Rush parash They're all within bags in the GM's table, pick the color black so you can see it
Rush parash 19 Jul @ 5:05pm
Maybe I'm a bit of a dum-dum in Tabletop Simulator, but where do I find Codex stuff for abnormalities as a GM, as well as other components like their tokens?
Ender  [author] 18 Jul @ 11:21am
@LaciJuhos Dont worry about it, I'll be glad if I can help
LaciJuhos 18 Jul @ 6:16am
Thanks, I'll try those. Sorry to take your time up like this with this very random issue
Ender  [author] 18 Jul @ 4:53am
@LaciJuhos Sorry to not be able to help, I believe the problem might be client-sided, so here are some things to try If you already didn't:
- Verify game files
- Try to Unsub the table and sub again
- uninstall TTS and install again
- Try to clear Pc's cache. Maybe the ones having the problem might have their PC's cache full, this can stop them from fully loading things.
- Lastly, but sometimes helped people load games more properly: You first join the table alone, either hosting single player or a lobby, so that you load the table and then everyone join the table together.

This is all I can think of. If anything, and if you don't mind, I'll be willing to join Discord together so that we can investigate this properly, and in worst case scenarios, find a work-around
LaciJuhos 17 Jul @ 6:39am
Update again: sadly, despite our best efforts, it didn't work out. I know I'm in no position to make requests, especially since nobody else seems to be having this issue, but would it be possible to add a way to track health and sanity on the employee cards themselves?
LaciJuhos 17 Jul @ 6:18am
Thanks, I'll try that out later! We're still new to Tabletop Simulator, but I'll do my best to figure it out
Ender  [author] 16 Jul @ 5:17pm
@LaciJuhos. I believe it could be the Injector itself, try re-injecting the standees/figurines. The injector is in the table behind the GM's table, it's like a grey circle, place the employee on top of it, and click to remove it, then edit the permission of who can see and edit the standees, lastly, add it again to the employee. It's hard to explain, but try to tinker with the injector to see if the problem is with it.
LaciJuhos 16 Jul @ 3:29pm
Ok, so we thought of a (temporary) workaround. Namely: four counters for every agent, for maximum HP/SP and current HP/SP. It's not exactly pretty, and we can't even test it since my brother just went away for two weeks, but it should, in theory, be useable. I've been reading through some abnormality and EGO equipment mechanics, so I'm really looking forward to actually trying it with my friends now that we figured this workaround out
LaciJuhos 16 Jul @ 2:45pm
Update: Yeah that's not it, I'm genuinely stumped on what the issue could be
LaciJuhos 16 Jul @ 11:52am
I asked about this on Reddit too, just in case. Somebody suggested that it could be because it tries to load the bars in in three frames, and that might cause issues with higher latency players. They made a 'special' game to test this theory (it's just five copies of Evaluator Bong Bong next to each other, each loading in the bars at a slower rate), so I'll report back when I was able to test it with my friends
Laskey2552  [author] 16 Jul @ 11:00am
@LaciJuhos. Sorry that I was not able to help. I have not had anyone else have that issue yet, I do hope you all found a solution to it! In the meantime though I will check and see if it an issue with the standees rather than anything on your side. Thanks for letting me know!
LaciJuhos 16 Jul @ 10:06am
Thanks for the reply, but yeah, the health issue is about the employees, since we never really got to the abnormality part due to the issue. We tried restarting many times, both the game itself and the table as well, but it's always consistently the same issue described below. If every player couldn't see it, that would be something, but my brother (the other European mentioned besides me) is able to see it, but we're both unable when somebody else hosts it. Honestly I'm not even sure if the issue is with the game, or with Tabletop Simulator

On a different note, the game itself looks really neat, and I hope that me and I friends will be able to play through it one day, when we figure out how to fix whatever is happening.
Laskey2552  [author] 16 Jul @ 8:11am
@LaciJuhos. All health bars aside from those on employee by default cannot be seen by those who are not in the GM role of the table. This is on purpose. If they cannot see the employee health then make sure to reset the table by loading it again or having them restart their game.
LaciJuhos 16 Jul @ 12:24am
Was trying to play with a few friends, but for some reason, some of them couldn't see the health and sanity bars above employee figurines. Two people, including me, are in Europe and we could see it, but the other three, who are from the US, the UK and Ireland, couldn't. We tried with the UK guy hosting it, but then the Europeans couldn't see it while the rest could. Any solutions?
flashboy284 11 Jul @ 5:44pm
Ah that makes sense. Though it does make me question how players are ever going to lose if they can have 1 employee hide in the Shelter from the 27th of March.
Early game it makes sense to avoid coasting to the end with it since you need to complete missions, but once you do so what is stopping players from doing that? Maybe an abnormality could possess the employee and force them out that way but otherwise I'm not sure.
Laskey2552  [author] 11 Jul @ 5:01pm
@flashboy284 This basically enforces the already existing loss condition, since no new employees can be hired or have stats improved, it all comes down to who is left alive. If they perish it is all over.
flashboy284 11 Jul @ 3:35pm
Hello, I like the update that was put out but have a question about the devastation.
If all layers of the facility get destroyed, I assume that is a loss condition?
I don't see anything in the rules that says that directly so I figured I would ask. Also thank you for making the GM's life easier.
米多克Midork 7 Jul @ 4:56am
Can U provide me a format about this game ,I want to trans it into Chinese:GDEasy:
Laskey2552  [author] 6 Jul @ 10:25am
@Wolviller111 It most certainly is playable with no prior knowledge, it just might take a bit more of a look at the rules in order to get the hang of things. Playing the 1st game is quite informative and will get you into the rhythm quite fast.
Wolviller111 6 Jul @ 7:31am
Do you think this is playable with people who have never played the original game? (GM included)
Because i was having a hard time understanding how to play exactly
Suicide Fairy 2 Jul @ 7:23pm
Absolute Peak, thanks for this masterpiece
ErickJ09 25 Jun @ 9:08pm
NICE
wolf2003 15 Jun @ 2:51am
1) Can Queen of hatred in human form teleport only in the first movement phase or in the second movement phase or both.
2) I figured that Midnight of the crimson needs 8 cycles to blow up the top layer, but the game ends after 9 cycles (from 48 to 56). To do this, I took into account that 4 our joyous hearts spawn on cycle 48 in lower layer each in different hallways, and only at the end of cycle 48 the first Elation at the end appears. Is this how it should be, or did I misunderstand the mechanics of this midnight since this midnight can not blow uo middle and lower layers due to time?
3) Could you also add information about possession and how abnormalities that have the effect of targeting employees when their target is in a shelter to the managerial notes of shelter because the management notes don't say anything about these situations. What does red hood mercenary do when her target in the shelter?
wolf2003 13 Jun @ 5:26am
Hello, could you also add the names of abnormalities to the names of weapons and armors, as it can be used the search function to find them faster? Since using names of gifts is not convenient to find weapon and armor, since not all abnormalities have gifts.
flashboy284 12 Jun @ 6:47am
Awesome! It was one of the main hurdles I've encountered during a campaign my friends and I have been playing. Especially since I've been the GM so I have too many other things to remember and keep track of.
Laskey2552  [author] 12 Jun @ 6:39am
@flashboy284
We can certainly look into doing that!
flashboy284 12 Jun @ 5:44am
Something I've noticed that has bothered me a little bit. Could we get a description of what each EGO Gift does on the gift itself? Maybe as some kind of tooltip or something? It is a bit of a hassle trying to remember what a gift does by heart.
IF 9 Jun @ 10:37am
maybe we need Chinese:sad_seagull:
Laskey2552  [author] 25 May @ 3:02pm
New update is out, added a few abnormalities and fixed some typos and abnormality behaviors.
Laskey2552  [author] 21 May @ 4:06pm
As for right now there is not, but we are working on that!
jlaynor 20 May @ 2:35pm
We haven't played for quite long now because busy, just read the 1.3 version! I think that this is a very good direction to take and can't wait to test it with my friends!
Maybe a little dumb question, but is there a way now to highlight the Employee figures with specific color around them like before, and what does the 'round arrow' near the healthbars do? I click on it and nothing happens.
