Add nuclear fallout, there's not enough damage, it can't even destroy the home.

So I know I must be missing a trick somewhere with this game because the demo videos of this mod seem to be running fine.

I'm currently running on an i7 13700K under a liquid cooler.
64 GB of DDR5 6000
RTX 4080 super

Whenever I use this mod, any nuke, any map, game freezes and I get about one frame per every 20 seconds. Can do it in a completely empty world. Same thing. What am I doing wrong.

This is the most realistic nuke mod I have ever seen. Wonderful work.

yeah I'd be surprised if anyone could run a nuclear detonation evaporating dozens of voxels each microinstant in real time without significant frame drops.

Makes a 5070ti with a 7-9800x3d go to 1 FPS for 10 min.

I'm totally gonna take priority on a random teardown mod that's already functionally over the dozens of other more important things I have to work on.

Can confirm that the ADS view is blocked by the model before firing. It works when it's empty, but reloading seems to push the model back toward the player.

Also I wish every explosion in this game compensated for the speed of sound.

As a huge nuclear nerd I wanna give you a lot of props for this mod:
First, this is probably the most realistic depiction of nuclear weapons I've ever seen in video games if not in any media at all. For example, you actually made the air burst different from the ground burst with the detached stem below the fireball, you added a time delay in between the explosion and the sound, you used an actual digital reconstruction of an atomic bomb instead of a generic explosion sound, realistic mushroom cloud dispersal, damage petering out... I can tell you did your homework and watched nuclear test reels. Well done.

Now one of my RPG's is way stronger, I've been able to put maps into a Nuclear Winter now >:)
