also is the final move easiest to do by running backwards? the floor portal will only face one way so it becomes hard to catch yourself with the light bridge when running forwards...or am i just crazy and there is an easier way to do it?

awesome! some of the moves felt...weird. Even though it should be obvious because the orange faucet pipe is bent at an angle...it took me way too long to realize that portal orientation mattered for placing portals under the speed gel dropper Nice collab! :p2cube:

I love this ma great job

I've adjusted the position of the light bridge slightly to remove some weird jank. It didn't affect the puzzle in any significant way but the chamber should play a bit smoother now.

Having a problem solving : No problem with getting cube out but when placed in the catcher it causes havoc with the flip up panel - sparks and it goes up and down so can't place a bridge on it to get up.

The orange gel source hits the grated portable surface at a bit of an angle, so the gel exits the next portal differently depending on which side you stand when placing the input portal. You can use this to easily paint the ramp on your first visit.

Very fun level, thanks for creating!

I tried it... but its not possible for me. Maybe it is connected to framrate or something and it differs from PC to PC.

Maybe you should add a trigger_catapult there so when the player reaches a right amount of speed it assures the player lands on the platform.
Of course when you need to jump out verically the trigger_catapult is disabled.

It should be possible, you just run into it. Don't press space or anything. It worked consistently every time when I was testing the map, and in the original.

Is this jump possible like this or am i missing something?

Hmm, so I guess Leo added unnecessary steps. Regardless, it's something to consider if you want to enforce those extra steps, but I don't think it's essential by any means.

No, you didn't need to paint the ramp in the original either. I did a complete playthrough of it before making this version.

Very nice and clean Hammerization! However the subtlety pointed out by Leo in his comment on the map (that you can't use the runway with the angled panel to get to the gel dropper area unless you first paint the angled part, which as far as I can see can only be done with another loop to bring the cube onto its cube button before you paint the light bridge ) seems to not be the case in this version ( and maybe even in the original it was possible to press space and make that jump, and Leo just missed that fact ). So if you want enforce that it could add a few moves/reuses, but it does also add a bit of tedium. Regardless, the Hammer work was excellent and very clear. Thumbs up!
