Oooo an over haul of the nanite ascension? I just did my first game with it and it was extremely underwhelming with no mods or overhauls…. Might be a rude question but any eta?

Sorry to bother you, but I’ve been considering trying to make some mods surrounding the synthetic age ascension perk, and I’m a bit fan of some of the stuff your mod does, would you be okay with me stealing a few of your ideas for my own mods, and if so would you like me to credit you?

Kind of. As of now this mod is not in development as it is being merged with another nanite mod to overhaul a lot more of the tree.

NANITE ARMIES ARE COMING - Kind of

Long story short I cannot for the life of me settle on balancing for these armies - So they will be a submod untill they are in a state compaitable with the balancing of the total overhaul mod! When I have it released (prob tommorow) I'll link it as part of this mod. Go crazy (2000% collateral damage)

@phoenixel I know it’s base game, that’s why I was phrasing this as a request rather than a bug report. I enjoy this mod a lot for my nanite playthroughs, and seeing as you’re going for a comprehensive overhaul, I thought I would try and at least make the request.

If you’re playing Driven assimilator, your bio pops aren’t able to grow on Nanite worlds, I know it’s a somewhat niche thing, but it got in the way of my Nanite DA playthrough, and I was curious if you might be willing to do something about it (whether that’s in the form of a species trait to give your cyborgs, a simple edit to make bio pops able to grow on nanite worlds, or something else entirely).

hey could you please make the swarmers better?
as in could they get a large buff to movement and get 1 or 2 armour slots

I see no reason why not. They would need a comp patch I would imagine to port over specific changes assuming it's based on the army units themselves and make army specific changes but they SHOULD function together fine!

I wasn't able to get far before needing to hop off for bed, but I've noticed activating your mod included the addition of manual set colony designations called "potential", "planet_modifier", "weight_modifier", and "}_desc", all of which provide no bonuses but luckily also do not seem to have any auto-designation weight. I presume these are leftovers from trying to modify the Nanotech designation?

Glad to know not only was I not the only one to find vanilla Nanite ascension underwhelming, but also there's now a mod to make it worthwhile. Definitely giving this a spin after work and keeping an eye on it after 4.0. Cheers!

@Frenchy I actually decided I would be doing this last night. Will be very effective but also cause a large amount of collateral damage and create corpse blockers (if i can get that to work)

Next update will be AFTER 4.0 due to the amount of fixing i will have to do.

hey, what about a nanite ground force like Grey ground form but being able to be mass produced at the cost of nanites? like a lesser version of troop Grey?

By the way, great mod !
