It's not a deliberate choice from me. They did not make the key binds support being modified by many mods. Until Warhorse fixes it, there is nothing I can do.

I'm never the one to hate on mods, as I appreciate anyone who works to improve games..

However, whats up with incompatibility with keybinds? Can you not allow us to simply change the keybind? I use the camping mod, which I love, and it has several F key binds in it. This mod is incompatible. Any work around?

Also checked my kcd.log and it did load.

After checking my key binds for a 5th time just to make sure I realized that there is no quick save...

Check your kcd.log and make sure it actually loads, the log file is quite verbose

1. Try resubscribing
2. If that doesn't work, make sure no other mods are modifying keybinds

I dont have time nor i dont want to risk crash due to bugs. I want to return into this world of KDC 2 but i must know , can i play this game with this wonderful mod in current version with latest dlc?

You most likely have another mod overwriting the key bind file, or you need to resubscribe.

And why can't I change
1: The assignment? There are none in the option control
2: Why doesn't F5 work? It does not save

AlChEmY iS gReAt. Yeh i dont want to sit there for 3 hours collecting herbs and brewing potions just to save the game. Saving is a basic feature of any game and this mod absolutely does not take anything away from the game.

Alchemy is absoluteley incredible, why you would need this mod is beyond me the alchemy benches are everywhere and its absoluteley busted. But its your game so play how you like.

i did verify, and i didnt download any new mods since yesterday, and it worked perfectly, apparently there was a small update today so it must have conflicted with the mod, i also DONT have any mods that uses F5 at all to interact with anything

Reinstall the mod and/or verify the integrity of your game files. Also make sure that no other mods collide with the key bind file.

just tested it, cant paint shields with this mod active, controls wont work

For anyone who has experienced a game crash, downloading Modlist Cleaner from Nexus can solve this problem

Game is crashing when doing any kind of save, unsubscribing made no difference.

Both this mod and the mod from China can cause crashes. I checked their saved mods on Nexus and found that they can also cause this issue. If you encounter this problem, I suggest you download the Modlist Cleaner tool on Nexus. The root cause is that warhorse's work error caused your mod data to not follow the game updates, resulting in save problems. You can try the Modlist Cleaner tool and hope it can help you

The Crashing Bug is happening not because of this mod, If you have to many saves this appears... We have to wait until Warhorse fix that

Tried the QuickSave mod with the Chinese caracters and the game still crashed, so it seems like a game problem and not a mod problem, at least :)

Hey, looks like I'm not the only one having save crashes. The game immediately crashes whenever I quicksave, manually save or the game auto saves. I've tested on my PC and laptop. I'll look into the files and try deleting older saves in order to make some room (in case I may have reached the number of saves limit), but I don't know if it'll work. The bug happened when I was in the forest trying to sneak on Canker's camp, at 1AM last night. I was able to play normally and stealth kill 1 of them until the game crashed. I can perfectly play the game until a save is needed, then the game crashes. I thought it was a RAM problem but it still crashes on my laptop, which is much more performative than my PC.

Am I crazy or does this mod just not work? I'm pressing F5, nothing is happening, I'm trying to change the keybind... can't find a keybind that says "Save' or anything similar to that.

You're asking at the wrong place.
The crashing is from the game when any mod is installed, so you'd have to ask the developers.

Any chance the crashing is going to be fixed? The cleaner tool from nexus doesnt work most of the time. I have to roll back to earlier saves and it usually always still leads to eventual crashings. Cant believe a dev would make an RPG with such a dog shit saving system that needs a mod like this to be playable.

And the mod is still working fine

@Chief9mm you need to use the modlist cleaner mod (it's on nexusmods) to fix up your saves every so often.
