It seems to have minimal performance impact. Just be sure to follow the instructions, find a suitable option of the mod settings.
One True Hero! 27 mars à 18h35
Does this negatively impact my game's performance?

Fixed. Now it'll work even if it doesn't find the files where it expects them. Things are less customizable for people with it on another drive, but at least it'll load balanced and let them cycle between profiles in-game.

If you want to change the defaults, you'll have to copy the mod to steamapps\workshop\content\1771300\3443741063, making the folders as necessary, on the same drive as the game.

That is the case for me, yes. Is there something I can do on my end for it to work?
nimbul  [créateur] 24 mars à 2h13
Yaknow, I bet I know the issue. It's probably that you guys have the game installed in a different location than usual or a different drive. The mod traverses from the game to the workshop folder it's configs are at, so it's probably not finding them.

Can't get the mod to activate, pressing f6 does nothing...

Hey I recognize that name... Get out of her Stalker!

This mod saved my marriage. Amazing!

Fantastic mod. The little hotkeys and everything. It's perfect.
joghn 17 mars à 21h44
Looks great! Interiors feel much better, specifically.

You could always try posting logs. The mod spits out a bunch of debug information into kcd.log, so something relevant will be in there.

I dunno what to say. I subscribe, and the mod works. :eleven:
DubboG 17 mars à 5h11
Cannot get this to work on patch 1.2.1

I press subscribe and when I get in game theres no 'Mods' option, and even jumping into a saved game, I press F6 and F7 and nothing happens. Unfortunately not working for me :/

In your video you should add an indication so we know what preset is active so we know what is what :)

did anyone notice reflective surfaces like armour turning black at some distances with e_ViewDistMin = 100 and is there a way to fix it other than lowering it (changing it to 60 fixes it)
nimbul  [créateur] 15 mars à 23h33
There is no way to save to disk. If you want to change the default profile, you have to modify the .cfg, outlined in the description.
harvesthawk130 15 mars à 19h08
Subtle effect that adds up to an enhanced image. The "strong" effect looks fantastic. However, I've noticed that the mod reverts to the "balanced" setting when continuing from the main menu, or loading a save during gameplay. This is easily fixed by hitting F7 to cycle to strong. Doesn't appear to affect performance. It's best to test out this mod in sunny conditions, looking at a covered wagon while cycling through the options does a good job of confirming that they are changing as the bounce light has the most effect against fabric surfaces.

I'm gonna need a bit more information than "flickering shadows" to actually resolve where the compatibility check went wrong. Mods... cfgs.... settings...
Valey 15 mars à 12h14
for me have flickering in shadows

@zehbraw mods dont disable achievements, Its safe to use them and still get them
Wolfenburg 15 mars à 0h16
It's subtle but I really like it.
z3hbraw 14 mars à 23h29
does anybody know if mods disable achievements? I want to add mods like these but still need to get achievements from the game.
nimbul  [créateur] 14 mars à 21h02
Just be careful. It's a lower limit on ALL CULLING this mod specifically avoids changing. Any instability / shadow flickering or whatever is on you.
nimbul  [créateur] 14 mars à 20h58
This mod doesn't touch e_ViewDistMin. If you want to increase that, you would put it in your user.cfg file (create one if you don't have it) in your root KingdomComeDeliverance2 folder.
CoolCoolBird 14 mars à 20h35
where is e_ViewDistMin = 100 ? in which cfg file?
nimbul  [créateur] 14 mars à 17h44
I personally use "e_ViewDistMin = 100" in my own cfg, because it doesn't just target shadow LODs.

This is the same mod on nexus, with different file paths to account for steam workshop.
Julia 14 mars à 13h45
Is it the same mod like i used on nexus? So i don't need to update manually, great
GODzilla 14 mars à 3h00
I've been running with "e_ViewDistMin = 100" in my user.cfg. Can I throw this out with the new version / the experimental settings?
harvesthawk130 13 mars à 18h16
Got F6 and F7 to work after "finding best load order" and restarting. Very nice mod!
nimbul  [créateur] 13 mars à 15h29
It actually doesn't do much, but we recommend ultra because it increases the number of light bounces from 1 to 2. If you think things are a tad too bright, you can actually probably lower it to high to get a dimmer experience.
$lumd0g 13 mars à 15h21
what GI setting should I use in game? high? experimental?
