On a different note; I too am running LWOTC/Ted Jam and Gene Mods. When starting a new game the the slots and functions all appeared properly. On an existing game I was able to make them appear by deleting the infirmary and rebuilding it using the console. Maybe this information will be helpful to you and/or future players. Anyway, thanks, and keep up the good work.
Thanks.
I have also noted that the time indicator flickers sometimes. It seems to be only a graphical glitch, without real consequence.
I like this class. I'll keep reporting what I find when the bio_op participate to a mission.
On another subject, I really like the screen displaying the number of corpses available. It is both simple and comprehensive.
When I can (ie if my soldiers are in reasonable shape), I often lay an ambush around the active evac zone, in order to get some easy kills from the reinforcements with the overwatch advantage.
It did not seem to work here. When the evac was active, my ambush did not provide any essence even if I killed the first wave of reinforcements.
Is there a cap on the number of essence points one can collect during a mission ? Or is it active only until the evac is ready ?
Congratulations for the class icon by the way. It is quite nice.
To be continued...
PS Well done, this is an interesting idea.
I did a few campaign with the classes but balancing is hard, the main thing I would nerf is life drain and force a cap on HP (since it can be ridiculous if you get too many essence that boost it)
Corpses management is going to be an interesting challenge.
I assume you have tested the class to finetune it. The abilities do suggest some kind of jack of many trades, always acting before the other squadmates. Am I correct ?
Two other questions :
a/ No problem introducing the class in an existing campaign ?
b/ Only rookies can be trained of course ?
It would also be useful to clarify what kind of weapons they are allowed to use.
I'll definitely try in my next run.
