You know what, i appreciate the work really, but for me this is again a hell to manage germany : i hate have to deal with decision mechanic like politics fight when i'm playing to hoi4.
I suppose mostly people playing with vanilla ai that is terrible and offer zero challenge, and that let them keep busy.
But when you play against good ai, when you face humans players and when you play seriously (send volunteers in as much possible fight in the world) this is a terrible lost of time that make you lost a lot of efficiency.
I would dream about a kr simplified (germany/ukraine/all the hell country with timed decision to take during 2/3 years in place to concentrate on war aroung the world) with all these shitty decisions fights (politic/black friday/land reform BLA BLA BLA...) disapear.
I mean we have focus three and event for choose wich branch of uchrony we want to go its enough, these mini game are boring and exhausting to manage, i prefer to concentrate on fight/production.
Thanks for your work, now this is my must have submod for KR. Feels like playing old Germany but so much better.

@Xen Yang If you are able to fire an event called germany.8 and it does anything, then you need to redownload this submod. The most recent Kaiserreich update overhauled the naming convention for nearly every event in the mod, leading to all these issues. However, germany.8 is still using the old naming convention which has already been thoroughly purged.

Quick update. I might provide some insight into the problem. It appears the Roeden event is the one not firing (germany.8) I fired it manually and that led to the fall of the March Coalition. Things seem to run smoothly from here but I hope to have some feedback to know if its still worth persuing this run or other bugs are inevitable.

Hello Dev, amazing mod. The 1936 election is broken as some have said below, the Metz and Prittwitz focuses work but the day comes and the scripted election dosent fire. I cannot even tell if any election fires... Should I roll back to the previus version of kaiserreich?

@None Chucks I cannot tell you whether its an issue with the mod or not if you dont tell me if you are still seeing broken localisation for the Demand Renewal of the Treaty of Metz focus. Add me if your still having issues so I can trouble shoot them for you.

@None Chucks Are you sure you updated the mod correctly? If you still see missing localisation for the Demand Renewal of the Treaty of Metz then your still playing with the older version.

I believe the recent KR update broke this submod. Event descriptions (such as the Pruwitz Plan) are not showing, and the event timer for the 1936 election is not firing (this includes Schleicher's appointment to power).

@naimshakur @Swords and Fiddles Should be fixed in the latest update!

For the ambassador crisis event chain specifically, there was a random chance of failing the event chain even if you did everything right, that was removed. More tooltips were added to make things a bit easier to understand. Generally its best to stall initially, then escalate the situation, then back down repeatedly. Otherwise you can opt to gamble against the UoB for a better buff to the DVLP, or concede earlier on.

Great mod! Would you be able to simplify the ambassador crisis event chain? Base Kaiserreich is so frustrating with seemingly endless fail-states and zero explanation within the events.

This mod is great. The original version was so confusing, with all the buff and debuff balancing to do. It also required a lot of decisions, including playing cards and marking parties on a timed basis. This simplified focus made it so easy for me to choose Schleicher, the Social Democrats, or the Black, White, and Red. I don't have to worry about decisions like in the original.

Got a bug where the Ottomans joined the RP before the war in the desert even started, Germany had a decision to invite them which had the requirements ticked because of an uprising in Kurdistan

@Captain Ahaab Did this issue happen after taking a break in-between sessions? I only see one trigger for the Mass Layoffs event and it makes it so it should only ever fire in 1936. I suspect this issue may have been caused by the fact that I updated the mod only a couple days ago and it having somehow broken that trigger. That would also explain why Zentrum leaves for no reason, but that may be an entirely separate issue.

I was just playing and in 1939 got an event related to Black Monday (Mass Layoffs). Since I only have this mod that changes focuses or events (the other just do tech, agency and such), I'm guessing it might be this.

Also, I got the collapse of the Demokratische Union, due to Zentrum leaving at 100% loyalty. Now the SoCons are in power. Is that always gonna happen or can I prevent it?

@Atikin_0 To guarantee Schleicher remains in power, you need to complete the focus "Construct the Propaganda Machine" in his chancellorship tree. You can delay doing that side of the focus tree for ~120 days if you are trying to optimise your run. If you need more help with other paths note that the in-game rules are also updated to relation to Germany's changes.

I really don't understand how to keep Schleicher in power. No matter what I do, the SPD gains enough seats and Schleicher is forced to resign, even though it used to work before, but now it doesn't. Can you tell me what I need to do?

@ArminiusdeCherusk The issues with the Polish shares and Schachts Austerity program are going to be addressed in the next update. That and many more fixes can be expected, however I am under the impression the next version of KR is right around the corner, so I am holding off from any updates until then. As for the SWR, its not actually random, its just the factions they sway in the Reicshstag are random and because of that its giving the DU an advantage in terms of more frequently achieving a majority. Removing the randomness in the Reicshstag would require re-adding more ways to interact with that mechanic which goes against the goals of this submod. You can quite easily guarantee the SWR by keeping Schleicher until late 1936 and then ousting him in favour of the SWR with the Kaiser's help.

Once starting selling polish holdings, you can't stop from doing so. Is that intendet? Before you could stop "auto-selling", but now i can't. Any plans on making it not random if DU or SWR is happening? ( perhaps by decision) . I prefer to let it in player's hand, despite to have to relaod because rng ;) . Still a good mod !!!!

@Shigeru Miyamoto Currently the SWR winning the Reichstag minigame is down to chance. To get them in power you instead need to focus on preventing the DU from gaining enough seats until the Kaiser intervenes in late 1936.

Trying to get the Koatlion Schwarz to win the Reichstag mini game and it feels almost impossible i done tow run throughs and never been able to get enough seats. Are there any tips or any way this mod can get the Koalition enough seats? Am I missing something or is it impossible in this mod?

@Lapamato In order to test the AI you have to look at division count and industry at certain dates rather than just whether or not they actually win the 2nd Weltkrieg. That or go through dozens of games and collect the results. This is because there is so much variance in how the war plays out depending on which paths countries take and which civil wars are won and by who. In my recent tests for example, Germany was able to win 3/4 times against France and Russia. As for the AI itself, it has been trained to prioritise a specific focus order and certain decisions, but the changes don't make it easier for them in the same way it does for a player, because in base Kaiserreich they cheat through most of the complicated stuff anyway.

I wonder, does the AI know how to use this? I've had this mod on for a couple non-Germany games, thinking it would help the AI because it's simpler, but each time Germany has lost quite easily to Russia and the Internationale

Once the Social Democratic government fell, I can't get rid of the Prussian conflict to remove the government paralysis. Is it a bug or did I simply not understand what to do?

@ArminiusdeCherusk While the bugs with Mitteleuropa have been fixed, the Pax Germanica triggers are untouched. While I agree that it doesn't really make sense for Germany to start celebrating when they might still be at war with the US or Japan, not only is this trigger unchanged from how it works in base KR, it's also going to be annoying to need to invade the US and/or Japan just to move on with the rest of your focus tree. Its better to think of this as the "VE Day" moment for Germany.

Thanks, but with the latest update, in Mitteleuropa all options are called German Empire. Before, they were distinguished by name. Now you need to hover over those options to get to know what will happen. (Downloaded mod again, still same problem.)

Another point would be PAX GERMANIA. Crushed Russia, Britain, and France as Germany; peace out. Got the PAX Germania event but was still fighting vs. Japan. Shouldn't it be locked as long as you fight a major power? Would be funny to call PAX Germania while still fighting US and Japan

Thanks for your work, seems to running good. I have only one question, how to get rid of "Disorderly Agrarian Policy" with -0,4 % weekly stability penalty? I am in 1941 as Germany SWR, completed the left side of Focus tree conservative revolution and still have that negative effect. or did i missed a popup?

The decision to coup the Belarusian social-democrat government doesn't work. I had to annex Belarus through the console in order to stop the defection from happening since Russia went socialist in my run.
